sorry to say power corrupts.. the number of lobbyist that show up at the doorstep of congress are in the 1000's. the old adage that everyone has their price is true too many times.
i went to protest norm at a local coffee shop the other day and he didn't even show up. his disappointed supporters where still trying to tell people that franken is not a minnesotan, norm is from new york for christ sake. norm the "bronx bomber" is pathetic.
Hopefully Minnesotans also know what self inflicted wounds and crockadile tears are.
These were unmarked envelopes. Nothing says another kind of deception stunt was not used, by GOP operatives of the Rove school, so that Norm could deamonize Franken's campaign.
Notice how much Coleman almost seemed to get off on accusing this reporter's question of a bias. Whole thing coulda easily been a set up to get free air time.
Franken is not in this for the money. There's the difference.
Hopefully Minnesotans are up to speed on how 9/11 was faked. Both parties have been hijacked for more years than we can even guesstimate, not simply by some new breed of harmlessly determined politicians but by people groomed and funded by big money. People should read about the Council on Foreign Relations and history of Banking predating Nazi Germany and funding of Hitler with help of one Prescott Bush. W's grandaddy.
it still amazes me how these poiticians can toss out their load of bullshit and keep a straight face...Both parties are gulity of doing this over the years...the "ego" that these type of people posses must be enormous...its the old,"keep repeating the lie..and soon yourself will belive it's true"...this guy is creepy...deny...deny...deny...that woman reporter put the heat on this guy, and he say's she part of Al Franklin's campaign--lol..Norm is a fucking joke..good luck Minnesota.
How can Minnesota support Obama and yet they might re-elect this guy?! President Obama is gonna need Franken. The people of Minnesota need to realize if they send Coleman back to Washington you're allowing the Republicans to continue to block meaningful reform. The Dems must get a filibuster proof majority in the Senate. If they do, and in two years they do nothing meaningful, then I will say throw the bums out. But they deserve the chance- and to do that they need 60 votes in the Senate.
Sen. Coleman, you're right. Minnesotans have had enough. We've had enough of your lies. You are *lying* about the Star Tribune having access to information on this lawsuit prior to it being filed. This is the sole basis upon which you *speculate* that Mr Franken's campaign had something to do with it. The facts suggest that neither the media nor Mr Franken had any knowledge of this prior to it being filed.
I read somewhere that he's repeatedly done this in a attempt to portray himself as some sort of victim- filing suit accusing his opponent of defamation and "sleazy campaign tactics" and when he wins he quietly drops the suit. I think this is the fourth campaign where he has done this. LOL! I really hope the people of Minnesota don't send this guy back to DC- President Obama is gonna need all the help he can get in the Senate if we're going to get things done. Franken is a awesome progressive.
Virtually all of congress should be put out of office and indicted for high treason. Taking money from a foreign power masquerading as a non profit (AIPAC) is treason. Norm Coleman is nothing more than an agent of the Israeli slime machine. Al Franken will be no better. Both parties are controlled by the same puppet masters. This is just part of the show. Nothing changes.

Both parties lie till it becomes true. Don't get me wrong, all neoconservatives are scumbags, but most Democrats in congress are total scumbags too.

He's behind in the polls and making a pathetic and desperate looking attempt to get one last kick at getting elected. He is lying. It's obvious.

This guy is just so UN-inspirational... how did anyone vote for him in the first place?
When I listen to Paul Wellstone, I can't help but feel inspired and empowered... the same way I felt listening to him prior to his untimely death.
How can folks who listened to an incredible public figure like Wellstone feel anything but disgusted listening to Norm's ridiculousness?

so the allegation is that his wife accepted graft on his behalf, but he is saying that its a slam on his wife, so its out of bounds?
no, senator...it is not
here is what is out of bounds....your nasty wife sucks cocks for votes...now that would be out of bounds

Norm...you lied about Paul Wellstone 6 years ago, and you are lying now! Everyone knows it. You are a disgrace.
