(I haven't seen the 1960 version but I don't think that the zodiac was an element of that movie.) The Babylonians and Sumerians had a black zodiac but it's nothing like the one used in the movie. So don't take this black zodiac thing too seriously, it's not something worth arguing about. ^^

It thought by the movie makers that in late Novemeber and early December,will represent the sign of hell's winter,meaning not thee "winter" but the sign of its coming arrival which falls on Novemeber. the Jackal was perfect for this role. according to the producers of the movie the Black Zodiac i am afraid to say 'Does Not Exist'.(i been trying to obtain the Black Zodiac Prop-Book from the movie..unable to obtain it at the moment. hopefully it will be made available in copies..only we can hope.
