@gigipah Psych drugs are GREAT...when used appropriately to treat SYMPTOMS, in conjunction with EVIDENCE BASED psychological methods (e.g. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for stuff like OCD).

The problem isn't modern psychiatry/psychology - but a SICK HEALTH-CARE SYSTEM, which does not adequately fund mental health services - leaving doctors with little choice but to prescribe meds (either in excess, or inappropriately). The only remedy is better funding for mental health SERVICES.
