@CatFro4 Drive by wire cars are hard to fuck up with revving because they have software stops in place to make sure the engine isn't ever working too hard. I'm more worried about all these "check out my exhaust sound" videos that no one lets the motor warm up before going into a frenzied rev-fest. Notice: when you start your car (depending on engine and tuning) it will idle at about 12-1300 RPM for about a minute or two and then drop to about 900-1000. Once it drops, its warm and safe to rev.

@Ronixwake5656 Between a VW VR6 and an Audi V6 engine is big difference, but both types of engines are used in VWs and in Audis too, because Audi is like an secondary branch of VW. The VW`s VR6 engine has 15 or 10.6 degrees V angle and 1 cylinderhead, that are: 15 degrees: 2.8l 12v, 2.8l 24v, 2.9l 12v (Eurospec Corrado, Passat Syncro), 3.2l 24v (R32), 10.6 degrees: 3.6l 24v (R36). The Audi`s V6 engine is normal V6 whit 90 degrees V angle and 2 cylinderhead, that are 2.7l 24v, 2.8l 30v, 3.0l 30v.

whats with all the magna-flappers out there, they only make exhaust for tone not power, yeah increasing the diameter makes for better flow and more power, but proper bending and resonator chamber makes for better power, there is definitely more than just putting on large piping and.

bastec666... magnaflor mufflers are straight through... they ARE for performance unlike borla which has chambers in the muffler.. do your research before you criticize "magnaflower's"

I have, borla has it right, they tune their exhaust for both performance and sound, though they only work on american muscle, since the people who run the company are muscle car nuts. Any good import, skunk2, mugen, etc. tune for both sound and performance using chambers. A straight through cat is only good if your turbo, since it has less restrictions, but then again same can be said for any 3" exhaust.

Throughout the whole video, his exhaust crackles and pops, that rice. It should be smooth.

Well I think it sounds great you won't get that sound from a honda, if you look up videos many vr's sound like this its just the way the motor sounds it crackles and pops and has a nice deep grunt to it, like i said it is because its non res and no cat thats what vr's sound like non resonated and no cat esp 24valve vr's...look up videos of r32's they sound exactly the same with top of the line exhausts
