Jet are not 'ACDC' rip offs, just like how Oasis aren't rip offs of ' The Beatles'. They are completely different bands in different eras. They just happen to be around the same geographical area and are inspirational figures. Jet and ACDC have the Aussie rock sound while Oasis carries the typical British clean n' crunch.

No great musician is without an inspiration. Now, shut up about other bands and let's rock out - yeah?

I think people often make the connection to AC/DC in most part, becasue they are both from Australia. I think Jet draws more influence from The Who than AC/DC, and there's nothing wrong with that.
