Nobody was as spectacular or authoritative of a dunker as MJ. He ain't gonna do his fancy tricks in a regular game. He didn't dunk only to look good, he remembered that the priority was scoring. While VC is in the top 3, MJ is the elite. Gerald Green and Jerome Kersey are flashy dunkers, they aren't commonly referred to in the argument of the best dunker

He has more power, finesse, body control, EXTENSION(the MOST important aspect in dunking which you did not know cause you're stupid) power, versatility, longetivity, coordination, inventing new stuff, making the dunking game evolve, jumped OVER people etc etc etc.

Naw, no way was the dude better than him. I watched it on tv when it was origionally broadcast. Even the anouncers were all like 'he got robbed.' Truth is though he lost it himself, not because dude was any better than him. He missed his last like three dunks. He tried too hard, and didnt focus on a regular dunk to win it.

Yeah. He tried to go for a 360 windmill cuff, which is very very hard to do for a small guy with very small hands like Helicopter. That's his best dunk, and I don't think he had anything left in his arsenal though.

The guy who won it sucked. He did the same type of dunks and even stole one of Helicopter's dunks.

I know. The thing is though, he didnt even have to try those dunks. He had the whole arena off their chairs. He had all the momentum, but he just went for too much at the end. That dunk where he came around from out of bounds and it looks like he's jumping from outside the line, after looking right at that Duke guy, was just crazy. I thought he had it sowed up after that. All that other guy did was jump from (inside) the free throw line. Basic easy dunks. I guess since Copter missed his last 1s.
