After a few listens I think this song is pretty epic. There's a mix of everything in there. There's some Heretic sounds in the verse. Some Formulas when it slows down. And some beefy Covenant/Domination style riffs before David shouts "Nevermore, Nevermore ooorrreee" . That said I think the rest of the album is going to be much more impressive

I've seen then with Vincent and Tucker, both great but I prefer the Tucker era songs that were created. Vincent doesn't do Tucker stuff live though, except Bil Ur Sag (on youtube).

However, I've heard from sources close to band that Tim Yeung (sp?) from Divine Heresy will be drumming on the new album...not sure most will like that, not the same without Pete on the stix. I'm willing to wait longer for the new album if Pete's drumming. I don't even like DH, but Yeung is a good drummer.

I thought gateways lacked intensity. heretic was a great record, some riffs were over played in my opinion. i hope to god this song is the least best of the record.
