My father died 30 years ago this year and he was a massive Liam Clancy and Tommy Makem fan. I took solace for years listening to Liam Clancy in a form of compensation for his loss. When Liam died, the feeling of loss was akin to losing my father over again.
@welldonevid The night I found out... I had been drinking a bit before... and the rest of the night I cried and drank and watched his videos on here. And I am not ashamed to say that I felt pain. If anything, looking back... it's a tribute to him that a man I never spoke to had a career and life I felt that strongly about.
bland is only a word that would be used by someone who is standing outside the front door and thinks it a good idea to peek inside but feels it better to stay outside.
