It's so hard to decide who I like singing this better. I've heard Julia, Lisa, and Eden sing and I really like them all. They each do something a little different with the song, but I think each rendition is almost equally good.

I think that Eden does an amazing job as Elphaba. I saw her in LA several times. She is the best one I have seen. I didn't like Idina at all....he career is almost over....and her voice is almost gone....and Shoshana should never play Elphaba again. When I saw her she was terrible. She cracked so many times and her emotions weren't all there. Eden is the best!!!!!!

Ok, well you don't have to talk crap about Idina and Sho to state your opinion. Both women are amazing and nothing bad has been said about Eden. I like her. If you think Idina's voice is almost gone and her carrer almost over, you obviously have not heard anything from her recently...She's absolutely amazing. And Sho actually sings my favorite Defying Gravity.

Ok, I'm really surprised. Don't hate me guys. Haha. This is only the second video of Eden's that I've seen that I've loved...and one of them she was lip-synching. But her emotion when she's singing this just made me tear up. I loved it. I also agree that while she has a good voice, I don't believe that she's suited to play Elphaba, but she definitely needs to stay on stage. That's just my opinion. She does have great talent though. My favorite song from this musical is Home by Sho. AMAZING!!!

unlike a lot of performers, eden really puts in a lot of heart and soul into her sining, which makes her performances so powerful and remembered. just look at her faces during the last note.
