It's really strange. This man is extremely well built and athletic. His leapfrog is almost twice as high as Ultimate Warrior and Lex Luger's. But for all that potential, he was said to be difficult to work an entertaining match with. And he actually got worse instead of better as time went on. Considering that Hellwig was able to work entertaining matches despite his lack of technical ability, that says a lot. For everything Magee brings to the table, he wasn't meant to be a wrestler.

@Wingnutcaseman but this is not the true reason that he did not become a good wrestler and world champion but the true reason that tom magee is canadian but wwf/wwe wants his people champion or their hero to be american for example hulk hogan , ultimate warrior , lex luger , the rock , john cena , batista , undertaker all of them are americans and steve austin stone cold too

But, if it was a bias against Canadians, why didn't he go to Stampede and become their champion? Instead, Tom Magee just disappeared from wrestling altogether.

1-muscular and fit champion like ( warrior-john cena-batista-lashley-lex luger-goldberg ) and many more and if you noticed that all of them are americans

2-good wrestler champion for the mike and for people like ( bret hart-the rock-steve austin-chris benoit-hulk hogan-edge ) and as you may notice they are americans and canadians

and tom magee should be the muscular hero like cena ,warrior and batista

Bret Hart just buries this guy in his book. Of course, he buries 90% of the people in the wrestling world in his book, so take it for what it's worth

I'm trying to get through that book right now (I'm halfway through) and it's hard going because so far it seems like it's nothing more than a massive ego stroke by Bret, with everyone either tearful or in floods of tears when telling him to his face what a wonderful wrestler he is. I think if they'd given a gimmick like the Ultimate Warrior to Magee I think he would have been better than Hellwig with it because Magee had a better wrestling reptoire than Hellwig

1-tom magee is 6'5 height but hellwig is just 6'3 height

2-tom magee has more muscular and ripped body than hellwig

3-tom magee competed in wsm and powerlifting competions

4-tom magee is fast;wide muscular,tall and handsome

The reason Magees moves don't sell is because he makes them look to easy and effortless he doesn't struggle like the more successful fake Pro Wrestlers which shows emotion

Tom Magee uses more raw power then anyone in Wrestling Theatre like the best Gutwrench Suplex over the top rope ever done! to get Horner back in the ring. Can tell he was the second strongest man ever (1180 lb deadlift 955lb Squat and a 575lb raw bench) to try Wrestling Theatre after Bill Kazmier he has power guys like Henry Hogan and Goldberg could only dream of
