Just before going in service, do they assemble trains one-by-one or do they take out of service trains and make minor modifications to them?

I can't say for sure, but I know for a fact that yes they do that with the Acela Express train sets. As for Amfleet cars, who knows.

Whoa! I have this same engine move on YT as well. What parking garage level were you on? Also, did you see that they took away those PRR (Amtrak) business cars yesterday. I saw them heading over the Schuylkill River bridge. 5*, a favorite, and a channel post.
