@ohmyarmelle If I'm not mistaken Misty Edwards "wrote" the song. It, like many other worship songs, were taken from scripture, this one was taken from Song of Solomon 8:6-8. Often worship bands like this share songs, as they're meant for worship and not profit. But yeah Jesus Culture does and awesome rendition of this song.

The second part is part of the book of 6 Song of Solomon 8:6 "Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm: for love is as strong as death, jealousy as cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which has a most vehement flame. it is amazing to see God's move in such an amazing way! i love seeing awakenings not only in the U.S. but all across the world. I will keep praying for anybody who hates on Christians, it's not their fault. sinners are just blind and hungry. they have not yet tasted something that is so real as God's love. all the other stuff is real but temporary. While I agree that The Message has major problems with its translation value, the NIV is actually an excellent translation.. I really don't want to insult you, but when you spend 6 hours a day in the Biblical languages It's kinda funny to hear this. The Muslim is also very defensive about his perfect translation.. hmmmm curious ...

about the "hypnotism"- when i am worshiping God, i don't object to losing my attachments to this world so that my spirit is totally open to His. this music is not dangerous, it is anointed by the Holy Spirit which is why the spirits of this world are disturbed by it. i listen to ihop music while driving, but have never wrecked. while doing homework, and make straight As. this does not support your hypothesis about hypnosis.

This is one of the largest dominionist groups decieving and slaughtering the souls of young children I've ever researched in all of my theology study...in regards to the emerging church movement. The flesh, IHOP mocks Jesus Christ's finished work at Calvary by drawing in psychological manipulations such as altering the state-of-mind in the victims. The name needs to change. @SpcMedia21 God FEELS really strongly about us. 1 Jn 4:19 says "we love because He first loved us." And Romans 5:8-- "God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." To understand that I am enjoyed by God even in my weakness & that He provided salvation even when my heart still despised His love invokes a great deal of emotion. It is not sexual/sensual at all.. But it is passionate, intimate & pure. Try experiencing this music through that lens.

nah, i dont buy it, music is very influencing, the sounds, the melody, it has been researched and discovered that music can put people in a state of hypnotism, so now peer pressure takes over.
