Our stimulus goes to other countries? Yes. The U.S. Department of Energy revealed $60 million of the $1.2 billion given to the agency in economic stimulus funds to study climate change. While some might consider the expenditure frivolous, especially given the nation’s financial woes, it should be noted that some of the equipment was not even intended for use in the U.S. but rather was deployed to facilities in the Maldives, India and Australia.

Any time you have a Stimulus Bill that big there is going to be plenty of waste. Not excusing it just pointing out a fact. There's no question we need better oversight of all Federal Government Spending though.

My message to Congress:
Perhaps, you need someone to come to DC to oversee this program...I need a job. Or perhaps I can simply stay at home and do what the government has been doing. I will decide what is important in my own budget, instead of paying my taxes I can simply send you whatever is left over after the "important" things are paid for. The President should willing to accept a "handfull" of "unwise expenditures" that would cut into the amount I send you.

Lockheed-Martin (LMIT) needs SOMEthing to make up for the military retired pay contract they screwed up... under the Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz regime of "privatization". Now the relentlessly downsized Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) has to pick it up.
Yet again, the public sector has to clean up a private sector screw up... with the Republicans who created the mess snapping at their heels every step of the way.
And so it goes.

I want our money back right now! Tell that bar owner to pay us back NOW! We need to call this bar over and over and let the owner know how we feel about him taking stimulus money to build a bar that employs 1 or 2 servers if your lucky! It's not only the fault of Government, but the fault of these people that take advantage of the American peoples money. Call your leader's and these idiot businesses, keep their lines busy!
