Sad...I don't think the better wrestler won. Either Foster got tired, or the pressure got to him, but it's still sad to see the better athelete lose to someone who's not better than him.
@SkaterCTV Kilgore not a fluke. Wins over Simez twice. Dominated lofthouse where Foster barely beat him. Simez deserved to be the 2nd place finisher. Kilgore not his best start but no surprise he won. Without the pin he still beats him up. Hope they wrestle again next year.

Whether in middleschool, highschool or college you have to let go if your focused on a limb, but put on your own back... .He didnt let go, bridge or anything all part of wreslting at every level..The commentator even said 7:45 right after the pin that foster pulled Kilgore right on top of himself. I dont expect tto see these pins at the NCAA final level with "advanced athletes" ..that is a fish type of pin.

Kent State had a National Champion in the hammer throw back in the 70's. He is the first wrestling national champion.
