Hi, I just wanted to say that I buy Bare minerals, but I notice that you got a lot of eye shadows and alot of things for free. Just wondering how you got all of those things for free and how much did you pay to get those samples kit? The amount that you got is way more then i pay for. Just wondering how much you paid for all of the products in total.

EDM gives out some freebies if you buy a certain amount of products and with each order you can add a free sample kit....so I made a lot of orders and received a lot of freebies that way. Their prices are more reasonable than BM and their quality is great.

Check out the EDM site under the "specials" section. They always list their codes there. Sometimes, you don't need a code; you'll only need to spend a certain amount of money to get freebies.

The sample size is 1g while the full size is about 3.5g to 4g. But if you get a mini kit you get 6 full sized items for $18 so that's a much better deal instead of ordering them individually.

In my video I ordered the $17 kit that comes with 10 jars with 1g each. The full size ones are 3.5-4g. Those are the ones for 6 bucks each.

I really appreciate how informative your videos are. I had never heard of Everyday Minerals until I saw your review and am looking forward to ordering the free kit...among many other things!

I have a question though concerning the foundation formulas. Could you please tell me about the Intensive and Original Glo formulas? I understand the terms Semi-Matte and Matte, however the other two have me completely baffled. Thanks a lot for your help!

As for the Original Glo formulation, it has a dewy look and people with dryer skin like this formula or sometimes it's mixed with the Intensive formula for a slightly dewy look. The Intensive, which I use, suits oilier skin and gives a matte finish but it doesn't dry out drier areas of the face. So Intensive is good for oily/combination skin. HTH =)

They have different color families to choose from. Just base it on what foundation you use now.

Yes, everytime you order something you can also get a sample kit or you can just get a sample kit by itself.

I'm bare minerals user but I don't wanna use the BE everyday because of the Bismuth Oxychloride and I agree with Lostris, everyday minerals has different colors to choose from while BE is very limited.

I'm still waiting for my free sample kit from everyday minerals. Both products offer high quality mineral make-up that will improve your skin and make you a believer in the wonderful qualities of minerals.

Yes they do! They have finishing powders and a silk dust (which I have). However, I just got a small size of their tinted silk dust, because the regular silk dust can leave a whitish cast on your face, even if it is translucent. But I'm liking the tinted silk dust way better. HTH

oh and just to clarify, the mini eyeshadows come in the same jars as the samples, BUT they come with way more product. the jar is completely filled up, whereas the samples come with maybe half the jar filled.

Actually, all the samples I've received were filled up to the sifter. There was only one sample jar that I got that was only half way filled.

i dont think that eyeshadow brush was a free gift, until a few weeks ago, EM included a brush with the w/s kit, which was then $18. maybe they just put the brush in out of habit?

My order was only $27. The brush isn't that great though. It feels more like a concealer brush.
