  • @123SpacemanSpiff It's just my own idea, but I think a raopid fire cannon is a bit too powerful for that. Besides, it would look like a buffed Needle Cannon, even though that move is already very useful.

    Just a TACK *delay* TACK *delay* would be fine to me.

  • hammer man is have a bad day because he got changed into a mini-boss that's the problem.

  • I personally think Nail Shield is not a great move. Shield moves are awesome, but I think Nail Gun would be way cooler than Nail Shield. Imagine a rapid fire gun shooting small nails which shoot the opponents backwards and finally Mega Man nails the to the wall.

  • At first I thought the idea for "Nail Man" was dumb, but then again Mega Man 3 had Needle Man, so I guess the ideas for robot masters were always dumb. But I think the design could use a little work. It seems a little uncreative to just make him look like a nail with arms and legs.

    I share the same opinion. With all due respect, I don't think Phil's music is among the best, but the game itself does look amazing, specially for a fan game. The stage design looks professional, and I think that the music, despite everything, was more than a nice try.

  • @Ericzhanger That's why this game's Nitro Man is now renamed Trinitro man. Just like the unofficial Solar Man was renamed Flare Man when Solar man was released in Megaman 10.

I appreciate the fact that hes actually making original music for this and its sounding pretty good, but it still seems a little light hearted, silly and far too random and missing the epic funkiness of real MM music. Im nitpicking, but only cause he seems to have the rest of the package pretty much down. I still find the title screen bizarre though.

    the song thats the closest to sounding like it could be from a real mm is the level select i think. also needs work though :-/

  • Well, he said that Megaman Unlimited is inspired by Megaman 3, and you know how the music was in that game. But have you heard Kevvviiinnn's compositions for the game? They kick ass.

  • Yeah MM3 is probably my fav and it has one of the funkiest soundtracks too but i see where he's coming from. That said i just listened to Kevvviiinnn's Wily Stage 2 song which is also for this game as i understand. this guy has the right idea. Epic and funky stuff one could expect in a real MM game. i hope he allows this guy to remix some of his own tracks i think itd work a lot better. gonna listen to some more of kevs stuff.

  • The level design is actually pretty amazing. Even with just the one enemy, this looks really promising. The only this is, Capcom may already have a Megaman 10 in the works (9 sold well) so you might need to think about an alternate title.

  • the rhythm of the song, adding the fact that there's a nail theme for the stage, makes me associate the song with hammers hitting nails easily, so i guess that sure make it seem fitting

  • The music for this level is the greatest still i heard for a sequel to the 9'nth megaman. Still not megaman enough. Please study episodes 1, 2, 3 and 4. They have the spirit! Good luck!

  • That looks great. I actually like that you've included sliding (megaman 3 is my favorite one of the bunch). But if I can give constructive criticism, I think the way Nailman looks is a bit underwhelming. He looks more like an in-level enemy than he does a boss. Otherwise it was really cool.

    as constructive criticism, i think that you should not include sliding in this game. i hope you dont have the charging up aspect either... other than that, this is a thing of beauty!!! its amazing how youve done this all on your own!

  • The slide is awesome and doesn't need to be cut out. Without it, The game feels bland to me.

    The change shot is in the game too, But as a separate weapon that you have to select.

  • when I saw the first video I thought it was a real megaman game. I'm surprised 5/5
