The use of paratroopers and the concept of Blitzkrieg was developed by the Germans. The Germans were the masters of warfare. Operation Bagration was a tremendous military campaign orchestrated by the Red Army. The USSR conquered nothing after 1945 and they struggled in Afghanistan.
