If they have a very large stage to work with, such as spirit west coast, then Jerome is always up front.

@sixfootJosh, I don't see a single "filler" song on Hello Hurricane! Best album of theirs, even better than The Beautiful Letdown and Nothing is Sound - which were, until HH, my favourite Switchfoot albums.

@freshraj : On HH, each song is good (it's switchfoot after all), but to me only "Mess of Me" and "Hello Hurricane" could be listed in their top 15 songs. When you've written "Only Hope", "Learning to Breathe" "Love is The Movement", "Dare you To Move", "Meant To live","Politicians", "Lonely Nation" "The Shadow Proves...""We are one tonight" "daisy" "awakening" "Let your love be strong" "This is your life" "Twenty Four" etc... You can understand that some fans don't find HH their very best

@ngulu, Yeah I suppose you make a point... one I disagree with, but it's still valid. Switchfoot has so many brilliant songs already, and not everyone is going to get excited about all the new material. But I am! I just wish I could see them in concert again. Gotta move back to North America!!!

They are now indie, I think that was what he meant. Oh! Gravity was their last major label album (The Best Yet technically was, I guess, but it's a compilation).

I love all of their CD's, but I listen to The Beautiful Letdown the most. It was the CD that got me hooked on them. I like most of their new stuff, and can't wait to get the new CD.

Oh Gravity is the only cd i don't like.. but Hello Hurricane is awesome!! almost as good as his masterwork "The Beautiful Letdown"... kudos to SWITCHFOOT!

Agreed! There are several songs (like Awakening) off Oh Gravity that I really enjoy, however the album as a whole is not my favorite. Still haven't got HH, but I'm really excited to hear it, since they are going solo now.
