It's great seeing that Kotobukiya is consistent in the D-Style line with the White Glint's overall presentation and design. The Ingram 1's head construction also surprised me as it is composed of several pieces, including an interior camera/lens component that you can see through the transparent plastic visor. People compare the D-Style line to the SD line and don't understand that the level of complexity in D-Style is on a different level.
I can't wait to see more of the D-Style White Glint!
@Guiltaur I went back to the Astray and looked at the head part count, and the WG has about 4 extra pieces to it, surprisingly. You're absolutely right, it's super deformed, but is in no way comparable to the SD series.
i actually have come grown accustomed to gluing pieces in place... it kinda gives you this "step up from just simply snap-fitting pieces in" feel when you use that glue/plastic cement... PRE-PAINTED SILVER?!?! WHAAAAT?!?!?! i LOVE doing that trick and i would give Kotobukiya props for that too!! exciting kit maybe ill get this if i cant afford the normal White Glint
@zversus I have really terrible glue :P So I'll end up buying some Tamiya extra thin cement sometime in the near future...
You have NO idea how surprised I was to see the pre-painted silver! It was like a MAJOR shock D: I mean, most people would NEVER think to do that to help the blue shine, so it's a huge step up. Sucks for those of us who plan on painting, but it's a nice feature anyway! Honestly, I'd recommend skipping the full WG in favor of this. Just too... weak.
I can't wait to get my hands on this kit. The components looks fantastic, I'm really surprised by the amount of runners and components. Kotobukiya are really chasing the adult SD kit market with this kit.
Here's hoping for a D-Style Aaliyah in the future.
Great unboxing video Sir. What are you build plans for the model?
@tc012009 More AC D-style kits would be a FANTASTIC idea, sir... a D-Style Oblige, perhaps?
I'm thinking of just finishing the paint work as soon as possible, and just doing a review. I don't have enough time on my hands to do two separate build series at once :P I'm already a week behind as it is~
Can the stand be used on all AC kits?

Hi! I am new to this so I was wondering if super glue is required to put all the pieces together. Please reply back. Thank You.

@chaudoantri Not necessary, but some small parts may require glue for support
