Wow. I'm glad we didn't run into him.We camped in that exact spot on 10/09/10 for a night. Although now that I think about it I do remember hearing something rustling around outside our tent that night. Thought it was the wind. Good thing we had hung all our food down the trail a ways..
@Siconn91 That place is bear country. I usually do not see anything other than tracks, but I saw a lareg male bear there this weekend. I have not posted video. The sad thing is the bears are not afraid of people and walked right up to a group of ten and grabbed a pack, ate it and went back for another. It had no fear of people, and that is not natural so it is likely the bear I saw will be killed by US Rangers as the ridge is off the State Park ground. I have a lot of video to post. ....no time
