U need to run it through a couple of effects man...Use the boss turbo distortion for the first bit. Then for the last bit use a lil bit of delay and a wah then u got the solo down

try putting your thumb behind the guitar versus on top of it. you'll find that it will take less effort to put enough pressure on the strings.
