I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. I wasn't out yet during my freshman year of high school. My best friend, a straight male, was sweet, loving, and caring. We would talk and kick it ALL THE TIME. We were always there for each other. Naturally, I started growing feelings for him and those feelings developed into LOVE. And it was soo hard b/c he would play around and hug me and give me kisses (I know right. Sounds pretty gay). It killed me when he talked about girls he liked.

No its not wrong to look for a significant other in church. Gay straight or in between, that doesn't matter. Its natural to look for a partner with similar interests and priorities. Better than if he's neglecting God to go shopping or watch football while your praising your little heart out. Always keep God first in church of course but nothing's wrong with keeping your eyes open, church is also about socializing. Now if you go there with the primary purpose of hooking up that's just WRONG!

It would be nice having labels. People are afraid to be open cause of things like friends, family, teachers uncles whatever, expecting them to be a certain way.. maybe these straight guys you meet are really just gay guys with girlfriends... I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. I wasn't out yet during my freshman year of high school. My best friend, a straight male, was sweet, loving, and caring. We would talk and kick it ALL THE TIME. We were always there for each other. Naturally, I started growing feelings for him and those feelings developed into LOVE. And it was soo hard b/c he would play around and hug me and give me kisses (I know right. Sounds pretty gay). It killed me when he talked about girls he liked.
