  • how do i make it not stick to the bottom of the pan

  • i think 1/4 cup of cup of salt is waaaaay to much i think she make a mistake :O I just added 1/4 tsp. I think that's what she meant.

  • The heck? First you said 1/4 "CUPS" ..and than you say 1/4 "TSP" ..I totally just wrote everything wrong.. thanks, hopefully youre telling me the right ingrediants -_____-"

  • Why are you burning them T_T

  • overbrowned. In case you are wondering, a 6" funnel cake has approximately 300 calories while a 9" has about 450 cal. Not so bad for deep fried cake, right?

  • i tried to make some today for the first time and didnt have enough oil for the deep fryer so I poured some oil and mix into a ffrying pan. it looks like squiggly pancake than funnel cake XD its dark on one side and light on the other

  • COOL

  • I love this video....Im definitely going to try it....I love Ms. Jolene's PSA on having kids or drunks running around while cooking with the hot oil.... I laughed so much. We need to get Ms. Jolene her own Tv cooking show!

  • gracias por compartir saludos desde mexico

  • Oh Jolene you are SOOOOO much fun!! Love your shows!

  • A quarter CUP of salt? 1/4 CUP? That's a ton of salt for baking purposes.

  • @reiki2guy It's 1/4 tsp salt, did I print it wrong somewhere?

  • @JoleneSugarbaker At 4:22 you say one fourth cup of salt, but at 5:39 you say one fourth TEASPOON of salt. I admit that I panicked. Love your videos, Jolene and especially when you talk nutmeg...my favorite of all spices.

  • Wow! That funnel cake w/ pecans and maple syrup is the one I want!

  • Exquisite!

  • How can you have a mobile home _without_ intoxicated people??

  • Again you have out done yourself Miss Sugarbaker!

  • @EvangelineSO80 Hope you have a great day!

  • This looks like fun, as well as sinfully yummy! And I'm always looking for an excuse to send my kitchen up in flames. LOL

  • @anmoose So great to see you! Yes, sometimes fried dough is worth the flames!

  • Another great recipe! This looks so delicious. I've actually never had funnel cake. I think its an American thing. I may give this one a go for a treat. : )

  • Thank you SO much for saying "oil" and not ohl... lol I cannot stand that! I absolutely adore your videos and channel.

  • love watching you honey but i don't think letting it go a full 30 seconds is good... ummm maybe about 15-20 seconds look good

  • great

  • MMMmmm...Looks great! Cant wait to try it.. :D

  • I don't know if that furry green beaver on your arm is a wise clothing choice for deep frying over a skillet. Just a thought.

  • YUM!!!! thanks for sharing your recipe!

  • Yum!!!!

  • As much as I like seeing your face in your videos, I prefer this view of the recipes. I like to see what you are doing up close. Lighting is excellent in this!

    Deep fried yumminess!

  • @yoyomax12 Now I have to work on captions.... This version gets me email from those that read my lips....

  • are candy apples and cotton candy next? i think we need a grape flavored candy apple. lol

  • @dawntarr I do have a Cotton Candy Machine :)

  • @JoleneSugarbaker .. somehow that doesnt surprise me :) GO JOLENE SUGARBAKER! <3

  • "Or intoxicated people..." AHAHAHAHAHAHA! XD

  • What a nice way to make funnel cakes. What kind of oil did you use? Is peanut oil (the kind Chick-Fil-A uses) optional? Olive? Cottonseed? Grape seed oil?

  • @KBAFourthtime It's probably best to use a light oil, mine is a 100% Vegetable Oil that says on the back that it's Soybean. This will help maintain the Carnival Flavor... However who knows what you could come up with??!!!

  • @JoleneSugarbaker to REALLY get that carnie flavor, you need a surly guy/gal selling the thing, and the oil can't have been replaced since 1988. MMM!

  • @JoleneSugarbaker I would use an oil best for frying with a high burn temp. Olive oil is too fragile, peanut oil or grapeseed oil would work.

  • OMG it looks so delish!!! LYG! xoxo

  • I really enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the good work.

  • I'm starving now..... excellent!

  • OMG Jolene!!! that looks incredibly Yummy!!!

    I want some lol!!!!

  • great video jolene. Love ur vids keep them coming

  • hmmm, looks so yummie...;-) blessings from germany
