  • @SHELLHEAD1961 as soon as you get that time machine sorted count me in mate, lived the 70's once but would love to have a peep back at it.the music of nazareth played a big part of it for me.this album was the ultimate 70's rock album from that period.

  • @SHELLHEAD1961 i am for sure never got to really live thru the 70s, music is so much better then

  • The good old days. Remember the best friend that I lost. Here's to you!!!!!!!

  • "When I'm with you I just can't make up my mind..."

  • For those of you who don't know- I had many parties in my home. My friends DO respect me, but in eight years I noticed that the only album or item in my house (I've got many of them) that still had been missing (or stolen) is "Hair of the dog". Eventually I ended up purchasing this album 4 times. :)

  • @tapir750 Greatest comment ever!!! Nazareth is the best band of all time!!!

  • ну это же ппц!!!!!!!

  • Now this is great old fucken Metal !

  • Hair of the Dog album playing in a 8 track tape in a 1967 Camaro........ oh now those were the days when rock and roll was such in bad ass muscle cars.

  • HOTD is a kickass album.

  • No video should ever get a dislike I don't understand. If you don't like it don't watch it or search it

  • Great song. Great album. Bought this on vinyl when I was a teenager.

  • OMG! Im so glad i stummbled upon this band! AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!

  • kickass!

  • Rock -n- Roll is lightning and Heavy Metal is the thunder, despite most popular belief Heavy Metal is more about the drums, listen to classic Metal songs, the drums are heavy, thus why you could consider Zep Heavy Metal, look what Bonham did to the drums on some Zep songs, heavy, with this heavy back beat, guitarist had to step out of the usual comfort zone to match or exceed the new style of drummers, thus the more "metallic" edge feel of the guitar and did not necessarily mean playing fast

  • This song is a classic. End of fucking story. :D

  • yeeeehaw

  • decent song

  • really awesome riff!

  • cutting my teeth

  • @TheTabmiller WTF does that mean?

  • @TheTabmiller i was cranken this when i first started partying years ago

  • Meu Maravilhosa.D+ This is Music

  • Meu Maravilhosa.D+

  • OH YEAH..in front of the fie-pit; case of cold brew and the instrumental in a three day loop.......

  • It rocks who cares whos better, just sit back and enjoy music the way it supposed to be!

  • @bud4207 Naz is the best no matter what. There is no competition when it comes to Nazareth. Also they helped define and shape heavy metal.

  • @bud4207 you are so right amen to that

  • man this fucking rocks

  • Wow !! A flood of memories!! LOVE this song!!!

  • uhhh yes

  • I dont see resemblance with Black Dog, but even if they did borrow a few ideas from it, who the hell cares. Both are great songs. Just sit, play, and enjoy

  • EVEN BETTER. listen to this cut live recorded (if accurate ) at about the same time as the studio albums release. GUITARISTS do not miss this FEROCIOUS BRIDGE RIFF. pull up nazareth / changin' times

  • @hermygagala this one'sa tough call-- i agree that zep wernt metal but they came close on several occasions

the early pioneers of metal had lots of non-metal stuff in the slower jams--naz did.

  • @juliano66 Yeah but Naz had heavy metal no doubt. Hard Living (72), Witchdoctor Woman (71), Sold My Soul (73), Ballad Of Hollis Brown (73), Shapes Of Things (74), this song and many from this album like: Beggars Day, Miss Misery then continuing on from this album: Expect No Mercy, Born To Love, No Mean City and many from that album.

  • @NFXKouture Don't get me wrong Zep is a great band I love em but they are very heavy fast Rock.

  • I just saw the Manny Charlton band play live in Dallas last night. This was the first song they played. The female singer is pretty cool.

  • Actually 2:23 - 2:24. Scary.

  • At 2:25 it sounds just like my Mom yelling my name from the bottom of the stairs, for me to turn it down, back in 1975. First time I heard it, scared me to death. I ran to the stereo for the volume knob. She sounded pissed, as always, when I had it loud.

  • this song kicks fuckin ass man

  • Comment removed

  • Love the jam starting at about 3:00.

  • @goindownthe1road i agree. prolly nazareths best.

  • this album always #1 since my first copy in 1973

  • @dicko195

That's quite a trick since the album wasn't released until 1975.

  • @GrampaGoalie lmao!

  • nazareth---"Changin' Times"

  • Comment removed

  • that riff is fuckin great!

  • These guys just kick ass in concert. I saw them in London, Ontario back in '79. One of my favourite bands and I've seen em all.

  • From 3:00 on it's time to put the petal to the floor............shift those gear's and drive.

  • Zakk Wylde Needs to play/ record this!!!! XX--SDMF--XX

  • Zakk Wylde Needs to play/ record this!!!! SDMF

  • EPIC!!!!!!!

  • dont want to just hear it, we want to fuckin see them, dont post bullshit please''

  • Ten album jest niesamowity. Lektura obowiązkowa dla fanów rocka!

  • I actually love this.

  • I still listen to this album all the time. It has been in my truck's CD player for several months now. I see no reason to take it out. This one is my "going to work song". I wonder how many modern bands will retain that kind of playability 35 years post release?

  • @aquariusdawning ya mean super suck bands like "nickelback"???..LMAO!..

  • @wilatemodel ..Hilarious.

  • Nazareth's best song and best album. I haven't heard this song played on the radio since the 70's. What a shame. Very underated band. Love the guitar solo towards the end. I hope the younger generation hears this and can hand it down for future generations to hear years from now.

  • One of the greatest albums of all time!

  • E-E-E!Class

  • E-E-E!Classik!

  • What the hell is that a picture of on the album cover? A spooky ghost attacking an Eagle?

  • @TheSkuLLcomedyShow It's a 3 - headed winged canine creature, the album covers of the '60s , '70s and '80s , were masterpieces in their own right, check out the later covers for 'Expect No Mercy' by Frank Frazetta, and 'No Mean City' by Rodney Matthews

  • Nazareth RLZ

  • Definitely don't hear stuff like this now days

    awesome classic album

    just love the progressive rhythm!

  • I forgot about this track! Loooooved this album! Goood memories!

  • NAZARETH RULES.... ALWAYS HAS.....ALWAYS WILL.

  • This is my ole mans favorite. Mine is Hair of the dog! Love it Rock it out fellas!

  • the hair of the dog album & close enough for rock and roll was the only 2 albums that nazareth did that was even any good. they went platnium right off the top. razamanaz was the only song off that album that was even any good. these guys blew their load after hair of the dog an never regained it like so many. most do one whole album and they never find that magic again. todays artists r all thieves, they steal everybody elses music because all these losers can't come up with nething good.

  • i think i burnt out two pairs of speakers listening to this song when i was in school..many many years ago..

  • @markwicklund My speakers are now on there last legs(again) Thank F**k I don't have any nieghbours!!!

  • bozo47p- This was my first album also! Bought it at Cracker Barrel when I was 11. And your right it does still rock!

  • Nazareth, Jesus' hometown, no wonder it rocks!!! Jesus is my dude!!!!

  • One of the best rock BASS lines............ ever. Should be mandatory for any Air Bass Guitar Contest. Hits home since nothing else sounds like this.

  • Had the album as well,I was young born in 1966, but still loved rock and roll.Great album.

  • Man i use to rock this 8-Track when i was 8yrs old and playing with my hot wheels...

  • I miss this thing known as Rock & Roll!!

  • I can hear the Led Zeppelin influence in this song.

  • @WoodRatGirl Yea, they used a few riffs that were a Bit Zeppelinish!

  • @scumgod13 Oh yeah, this is Black Dog if you think about it...!!?? Love it!!

    Rock on bro....

  • @WoodRatGirl No, this song is more of a copy of Fleet wood Mac's "Oh Well" from 1969. Led Zeppelin would copy it with "Black Dog" in 1971, Nazareth "Changin' Times" in 1975, and Judas Priest with "Victim Of Changes" in 1976. Nazareth did not exactly copy Led Zeppelin. Actually, in 1968, Dan McCafferty loaned Robert Plant about $20. Plant never paid McCafferty back.

  • @cnm2908

Thanks for the info and naughty Robert Anthony Plant!

  • @cnm2908 And Ian Anderson claimed that Rob Plant nicked his favourite grey army greatcoat, after a gig, It was probably a fan that did it .

  • Too bad Guns and Roses Screwed up Hair of the Dog.

  • I still love this song

  • One of the best songs ever, especially the guitar solo at the end. MAnny Charlton should be considered as one of the most talented guitarists. It's a shame that so many people do not recognize him or Nazareth ! ROCK ON !

  • GREAT VOCALS!!!

  • what with having to type in stupid stuff to post a comment on your favorite group reallly

  • what with having to type in stupid stuff to post a comment on your favorite group reallly

  • omg my fav group are you kidding me awsome

  • its funny because when i was 10 years old i had every nazarth album they put out .. iwould listen to this album after sckool .for about two hours before my dad came home ..i think it was the album that planted the seed to me becoming a fairly good drummer..

  • One of the top 30 or 40 songs of Nazareth! No particular order.

  • No version of Begger's Day? bummer!

  • perhaps that may be so da324,but take in to account how many albums nazareth have done, and how long they have been going compared to zep, maybe if zep had gone on longer would that consistancy have remained, and would they still be thought of in the same way as they are now,who knows?

  • nazareth, can stand up to any band reguarding song writing and musicianship, its just that they have never been over hyped like some bands that suppose to be rock gods, sorry but you are wrong there guys, and yes vastly under rated.

  • @MrOctagon20 Maybe for this LP and Loud and Proud, but to say they have produced records consistantly with the quality of a band like Zeppelin just isn't so.

  • this is history

  • This song is just awesome and thats that. !

  • SWEET..... cowbell at 5:19!

  • Sorry Flyfish777, I have to disagree. Nazareth is a good kick ass R&R band, but they don't stand up to the song writing and overall musicianship of Zeppelin.

  • I love them both glad I don't have to just pick one

  • my favourite nazareth song!

  • Comment removed

  • THIS IS! the most perfect song to play while you zip down down the beautiful, perfectly straight highways and back roads of Northern Minnesota and North Dakota! Especially if it is IN A 1970 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS!!!

  • It's also a pretty good song to listen to while driving down a Canadian logging road in a 4 by 4 pickup.

  • no, its a great song as i go buy you in my 67 plymouth,, purple cuda,,haha,,yes its great...

  • I doubt many people would even think of taking a cuda down the roads I drive!

  • i LET OUT A FUCKINGGG ROARRRR AFTER ALL THESE YEARS!!!

  • Brings back so many high memories and too many parties...

  • turn it to 16 and light it up

  • This was my first rock alblum....at 14 ....and it still rocks 34 years later ...wow!

  • @bozo47p Also Rainbow, Long Live Rock and Roll.

  • @bozo47p Same here. 14 to 48, still rockin the right way. LOL. We can only hope our kids will listen.

  • @bozo47p love this whole album!
