Heart determination to finish the race I say, he kept pushing no matter how much heart broken he lost that day. As he limped around the track, his father came waving to the medic to please get back..the son was in tears and in so much pain, the world will never forget the father and son 92 Olympic games. Never quit no matter what you do, this is an example of determination to follow through. They are winners in my book, I'm proud to say, It just a reminder, to always finish & never quit noway!
I find it repulsive how these religious nutters find any excuse to exploit a feat of pure kindness and warp it into a sign of God or Jesus or whatever the fuck they believe in.
There is no such thing as God; it is a character of a book and nothing else.
@tteu123 FUCKING THANK YOU SOMEBODY FINALLY AGREES! and then everytime something bad happens they are like "how could god let this happen". i am jsut like STFU religion causes problems.
@chuckd387 Can you explain to me, then, how God came to be and how he got there and how and when he appeared? Eternity in the past is physically impossible, everything comes from something. So how and where did he come from?
When you answer me adequately (e.g. I suppose that he didn't come from anywhere as he is not true) then I'll take my time to answer you.
@tteu123 sooooooo u cant anwser my Q. but ur so sure that what u beleive is true??? listen to urself u say everything comes from something, yet u cant tell me where (what is) came from... theres no other explanation ...now before u comment back please know that god has never sat me down and told me where he came from lol so if what u say is right then can u please explain to me, the human race y where here and how we got here and how it all started...........please

At 1:33, father says to the Olympic official, "Get the hell outta my face!"
Nothing was going to stop that man from helping his son across that finish line. I wish there where more fathers out there who are as dedicated to their children.
I remember running in a no name 800 meter race in high school and being pushed flat on my back by the guy behind me. When I got up it was too late, they were 100 meters ahead. It was great that the next day while taking a walk, feeling sorry for himself,he met his future wife who was out on a training run.

One of the best Olympic videos I've every seen. Next time you watch it look at his dad running out to Derek. shoving people out of the way to get to his son in pain. Beautiful.
he actually got a hernia after training 10 YEARS for 400 meters... just un case u didnt know, a hernia is a tear in your leg muscle ... trust me, it hurts like hell if had one before and im 14!
