  • @BigCatRescue So, what's the status on Kringle?

  • @anfeltyz GOOD NEWS! Kringle was actually adopted last weekend by a lovely lady with no other pets so she has a forever home! :)

  • I want to sincerely tell everyone at Big Cat that I pray that each one of you are blessed by God and live very long and joyous life. Thank you for being incredible people. God knows we need more people like the ones that inhabit Big Cat!

  • I wish if i get cringle

  • Why do you release the spayed cats back into the wild? Don't they have a detrimental effect on the native wildlife?

  • @decadencecavies Yes, they do but the shelters are already euthanizing literally millions of unwanted cats every year and the best solution for feral cats is to get them fixed and to release them so they can live out their natural life. They wouldn't make good pets and would most likely be euthanized if we took them to a shelter.....

  • I wish I could work at big cat rescue... ._.

  • A northern Brit at an American shelter? Represent!

  • @frauleinschwein Yep, big up the Nottingham massive lol :)

  • i want to adopt jen! :D

  • man, give them something to sleep. them you neuter them. you could have caught all of them in 10 minutes. use your head

  • @BigCatRescue You demonstrate so many good qualities in an organization. I'm really glad you made this video I think you should continue promoting yourselves like this, and you should also re-iterate that you are rescuing these big cats from unsavory conditions, not merely keeping them for profit. Continue doing this great service for man and animal kind a like!

  • I just had to say aww at 1:40

  • Thats a wonderful thing you did to help out the feral kitten, I know personal how hard they are to work with as Im a veterinary assistant and have worked with feral cats before in taming them for adoption as well as working with a local organization to sterilize ferals.

Spay & Play is a wonderful idea to help promote control of the pet population, I hope it proves successful in encouraging owners to spay and neuter their pets.

  • i was here the moment i saw the word kitten

  • I wish I could have Kringle but unfortunately I live. VERY far from Florida

  • hey, i lived in Tampa as a kid! what a trip!

  • I have 2 cats, they were born outside from a group pf cats near our house. They couldnt eat cause the other cats wouldnt let them, so i took them in, and raised them! Bottled milk and everything. theyre 4 yrs old now, and some of the most friendly cats i know1 :)

  • I'm so grateful that there are people like those part of BCR to help out those awesome creatures. If I lived in your area I'd love to be a part, or assist in any way I can. As it stands now, my two little cats are rescues and I adore them so much. When the time comes, my next cat will be a rescue too. <3

  • What wonderful work you do!

  • 2:32 That looks delicious.

  • you guys are so awesome I think I'm going to tear up

  • @BigCatRescue Glad you are promoting this successful form of population control. I would like to ask that you include links to the national groups that have info on TNR: Alley Cat Allies and Neighborhood Cats. Anyone interested should contact TNR groups in their area to learn safe trapping & handling techniques (catching cats with your hands & transferring them to carriers is not recommended). FIV & FeLV testing is not normally done on TNR cats, but vaccinating against rabies is.

  • @ACCCGStThomas We will add the links in the description to this video, agreed hand catching isn't the best option but it was in this case, I would rather do this than have the kitten stressed out in the live trap before we return.

  • @BigCatRescue Thank you for helping cats big and small! For those looking to help cats in their own neighborhoods, contact your local rescue organizations to see if there are TNR groups or if people are interested in starting some. The groups mentioned above have videos, DVDs, advocacy info, studies and how-to guides. TNR is also a neighborhood improvement project as it helps eliminate nuisance behavior (stops cats from spraying smelly urine & eliminates mating & a lot of fighting.)

  • Thank you for helping make a difference with the small cats, too! Our family does this for a group in our neighborhood. It's tough, and people who see you feeding the ones you spayed/neutered (which actually helps keep new cats from moving in) often like to blame you for a cat problem that existed before you even moved in. From all of us trying to make a tiny bit of difference in our area, thanks again for the work you're doing on your end!

  • @Caldella Have you tried the advocacy info available on Alley Cat Allies website? If you don't want to order the brochures, most are available in printable formats. Another approach is to frame it as a neighborhood improvement initiative geared to ending nuisance behavior that everyone dislikes, like cats spraying your doors and windows with urine and making a lot of noise during fighting or mating. Include info on humane deterrents available and tell people where they can get them. Best wishes

  • @ACCCGStThomas We contacted Alley Cats Alliance several years back. We were basically offered no help and were referred to volunteers who never contacted us or were overwhelmed themselves. They're not really very active in our area.

  • This is awesome! Thanks Big Cat Rescue for encouraging spay and neuter services. :)

  • This is the best YouTube channel, after musselshell.

  • what you do is absolutely wonderful. i really hope i can visit BCR if i ever go to tampa.

  • Oh I love what you do :) and let me till you a sTory about my cat . He was born in my school and you know the pepole that clean the school they watch a mome cat give birth to cute kittens and the take them away from mom and throw the outsidde the school so I see why cats are from street so yah saved that cat and did not got sick so I am a happy girl :) with a happy cat

  • i think it's great you do so much for animals, including household cats! i adore what you do

  • Thanks for all you do!

  • we got a stray from pet smart in phoeix az they said it had been tested for fiv ut it gave it to my cat what sould i do

  • All my cats throughout over 40 years have been strays (too many to count).. I just adopted one in September from NYC. She (Beauty) was to be euthanized the following day when I saw her face on Facebook.. Couldn't resist and adopted her.. Those of us who love cats and dogs need to give them homes, for all the millions put to death for nothing is a crime..Also Please do not give a pet as a gift to someone, many end up in "kill" shelters..

  • I am so apprecitate to this rescues of every kind of animals. I love animals!!!! I am so happy that you rescued Kringle!!!!! That is sooooo great. I love people like you. I hate seeing animals being abused. I wish Kringle the best and I hope she finds or has found a well deserved home.

  • I've never purchased a cat from a pet store, and I never intend to. I've always found mine as strays on the street, or gotten them from someone who didn't want them anymore. I've always had my cats spayed or neutered, too. =3

  • I love Animals :)

  • @89cz3ko Good job you this is what people can do when they put their heads in good places. Thanks!

  • Aww this was so touching you guys are saints!! I've always wanted to visit Florida (cause I am a huge warm/beach weather person) And if I ever visit, I'd love to see this place! Heck, I'd work here if I could!

  • Thank you for taking care of the little cats, too! xoxoxo

  • Too many stray cats plus overcrowded shelters (aka prisons) means that this problem is just sad. I do my own part to help out. I always take in a stray cat. I have a section of a room where I took a cubby wall and made spots for the cats to lay in. I tie them down so they can't get around my house. They normally starve to death pretty fast but if not I have a very good Zippo and it only takes a few hours to burn them to death with that. The good side of that is that I have no disposal of a body!

  • My kitty was a rescue kitten. Ive had him for a year and about 2 months. All thanks to blindfolding my dad and having my mom drive him to the store... After getting him ocnfused on where we were going... <3 I love my rescue kitten

  • Why are there not more people and groups like you??!! The world would be a better place! Everyone pass on Sea World who imprisons sea mammals and go to Big Cat Rescue that will teach you something about respecting wild and domestic creatures!!

  • is kringle soft? because she looks like it :)

  • I used to have a tom cat that I found on the day before my tenth birthday, he was abused and had wire wrapped around his back paws, had a piece of ear missing, and had blood on his face; despite all that he let me pick him up and carry him home and nurse him back to health, he was my little sweetheart he used to cuddle with me all the time. He was the best birthday present I ever had! I miss him so much, he died about three years ago.

  • Hands down this is my favorite rescue shelter, thank you for saving these magnificent creatures and for helping their smaller cousins!

  • Both of our (small!) cats are rehomed and are great pets, we take great pride in knowing we gave permanent homes to needy animals. Really enjoyed this video, I wish we could drop by to tour your rescue centre when we visit Florida in September, none of us is brave enough to rent a car!

  • @kaytronika Great! Hope you can make it to the sanctuary to see the cats in person! :)

  • Very well done! This is what I do on a daily basis. I am a vet.

  • Your amazing.

  • Good job! And Kringle such a cutie! Good work!

  • One stupid question. Some of the stray cats are very fat. Are you sure that all of them are strays or did you just neutered someone's pet cat?

  • @chunky1x even then it's a good deed ^^ all cats should be neutered when they can go outside!!

  • @AldhisslaVargTimmene Are you serious! Even if the owner is negligent and let his/her cat out, there no legal right to neuter ones cat without permission. If a vet will neuter a cat will neuter a cat with the owners permission, this is a solid basis for losing ones Veterinary license.

  • @chunky1x

What part of Plenty of area to hunt and plenty of dumpsters to get food from do you not understand?

  • @cbeilby I never ever seen a stray cat that is as fat as seen in this video with almost perfect shiny coat. Most I've seen are either skinny or muscular but never ever a fat stray.

  • For a cat: To be rescued or adopted it must shed off its balls but stay well fed or stay homeless, hungry but horny. Mmm, extremely tough call for a cat.

  • Why would you neuter buddy only to release him back in the wild?

  • Fuck you, why woud you sterilize them? DO NOT INTEFERE WITH NATURE DUMB FUCKS...

  • Feral cats are not wild cats. They are domestic cats that went stray and formed a colony of untameable animals.

1 female cat can have 4 litters in a year.

A cat can have kittens as early as 5 months.

Feral cats are not given shots and can easily pick up diseases. Large numbers can be a threat to the native wildlife, both by hunting and through disease. It's very easy for a small colony to become a large colony quickly. TNR isn't ideal, but it prevents overpopulation.

  • @Alysaria overpopulation you say? castrate all Chinese people then.

  • @Belkamaniac People don't procreate 4 times a year and have children who are sexually mature at 5 months. Besides that, people are not wholly driven by biological drives the way animals are (when I see a cat voluntarily putting on a condom, I'll change my mind). I like animals...but an animal is not a person. They can have personalities....but that's not personhood. >.> BTW: people do get sterilized when they don't want children anymore. Pretty standard procedures.

  • Great Job!

  • cat's a BEAUTY. i came to dis vid cuz i wanted to improve drawing cats. i picked kringle as a refrence

  • What a fantastic idea-!!! You chaps are marvellous xx

  • Ahh I watch all of your videos! I have a huge passion for beautiful big cats. ♥ I was actually born in Boynton Beach Florida, but we moved to stupid GA when I was young. I miss Florida dearly. I plan to move back when I'm older. [ I'm only fifteen right now. :c ] And when I do I'd LOVE to help here. I plan to become a Veterinarian when I graduate collage. :) So maybe in a few years you guys will consider another Vet. :)

Anyway, Bless you guys for rescuing these adorable cats! :D

  • Thank you for helping the ferals!

  • 5000 cats in 2010. Bless them! As a serious trapper of feral cats, I am once again deeply touched. I love you all there, that why I still donate occasionally. You and eldad75 who rescues dogs off the LA streets.

    Lucky Kringle

  • I trapped two 6 week old kittens and their mother in the Atlanta area a couple of months ago. I trapped them all individually, and despite the small size of the kittens, they set the trap off. The kittens are available for adoption from Cat Care of Vinings in Vinings, GA. Their mother is being fostered at a private home in North Georgia. The three of them are very sweet, and I hope to hear they've all been adopted into loving, happy homes like they deserve :)

  • There used to be a big feral cat population around here and the TNR programs barely made a dent. Then the intrusion of coyotes into the city did... It's rather unfortunate, really. I definitely agree people should not let their pets breed while so many are in shelters without homes. It's completely lazy, irresponsible and selfish. If you can't afford to spay/neuter your pet, you shouldn't have a pet.

  • To be adopted, the cat must lose its balls.

  • Aww this made me happy :) i want kringle

  • I am so excited that you are doing this! I will share this on my FB page. Great job!!

  • My mother told me that when she was young she had tons of strays around her home and what she would do was help all of the cats by feeding them and playing with them and stuff.

  • I always loved Big Cat Rescue when I lived in Florida. I knew that was THE place for a big cat to live if it could not be released into the wild. Now I love them even MORE after learning they also take care of small cats! What a wonderful Christmas miracle for Kringle!

  • There are a bunch of wild cats where I live and there is a small black and gray tavvy that comes to my porch every day, I feed it. I will soon take it and adopt it because it looks like its starving and is very harmed, her paw is sprained too.

  • @xXNyaMaddieNyaXx I hope it works out!

  • @BigCatRescue Thanks, it just came by today, and I fed it some leftover sashimi from last night, was it safe to feed the cat that?

  • I took in two cats, one from the "wilds" of the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago, the other from a shelter, Orphns of the Storm, in Lake County. My present to Mr Oscar, was his permanent home with us, and my present to Miss Chloe from 'Orphans' was to have also a permanent home with us! They act like little kids at times, batting and quarrelling, but can also be seen enjoying a sunny window many times. So much better to adopt from shelters or word-of-mouth than to go to a breeder!

  • awwwwwww I love this. Its seriously what people should do around here. There are so many stray cats because of the University students that buy them then set them free on the streets when they leave the school only to return the next year and do it all over again.

  • I love you BCR!

  • what beautiful cats! can't believe they're strays. they look well taken care of.

  • My first cat was a stray kitten. she lived a good long 16 years before she passed in 2007. I have adopted another, and she snuggles every night. :3 <3

  • I've never bought a cat; both my family and I have always adopted :)

  • And to the people complaining about BCR's method of feral cat population control, let me explain. Feral cats are domestic cats that have not been socialized. It is nearly impossible to socialize one after they are more than a few months old. Instead of euthanizing them because they are unadoptable, BCR uses the catch and release method. Kringle is still young enough to be worked with, so they're giving her a chance to be what domestic cats should be, a pampered house pet.

  • I work at a high volume shelter, and you have no idea how happy it makes me to see such a large exotic cat organization taking the time to spread awareness about domestic pet overpopulation, when they have their own problems that they're trying to work through. Thank you BCR!

  • @TechnoSkittles We have to help the little guys and gals too! :) Thanks for watching :)

  • because of dogs FIV exists...I hate dogs. Because of them thousands cats die without a reason.

  • It was so moving to see that your group not only cares for the big cats, but for the little ones as well. Kudos for having such big hearts. The feral cats are victims of their circumstance. The only responsible thing to do is to spay/neuter them to control the population. Kringle is a very lucky girl. Blessings to all.

  • Good luck Kringle, I hope you find a wonderful forever home!

  • I allways supported bigcatrescue, but I think this is not correct, a part of it. Grab a cat in the wild and make it domestic is not natural. Either the cat is only 2 or 3 months, or after surgery, put them back into the wild.

  • @LraCroft These cats were once domestic, but their lazy owners just didn't bother to neuter them. Now they are breeding and spreading diseases, not to mention they're always in danger. I think this video is a perfect example of how we should try to fix the problem we have caused. Plus some people shoot these poor little ones at sight and that isn't the right way to "fix" this problem :(

  • @90Kirame That's the "human solution" to everything. Shoot them, and the job its done. Well, if we think about it, there are to much people on this world as well, more even!

  • @LraCroft Sad, but true :/

But I think BCR's idea is great as they're trying to help with this problem. I personally think this is better than killing :P

  • @90Kirame Of course it is. And thank God for BigCarRescue.

  • I really love that you guys are such large advocates for spaying and neutering your animals as well as adopting them out. As someone who is going to be working in the veterinary industry, it really pleases me to see this. Also, Kringle is adorable, and I'm sure she'll be adopted in no time.

  • Feral Dogs and Cats, can't be just killed because of human laziness and the animals natural independence. They adapt to our complex and dangerous environments; these animals should be protected. People have already damaged the environments they inhabit from their own invasion of the area. In my opinion. I am very moved that they would release them back into the wild <3 They deserve to live the life of a cat.

  • While I appreciate Big Cat Rescue for trapping feral cats, and working to rehome this kitten, I don't approve of the practice of trapping, fixing and releasing the feral cats on their property. Altered cats still put tremendous strain on the natural ecosystem, and it is actually illegal to release non-native animals into the wild, even if that's where you caught them. Feral cats live short, unhappy lives, and the wildlife suffers for them being there.

  • @Raditzwyvern But without the manpower and resources to house and care for feral cats, it's the only viable solution, unfortunately. I worked with Sterile Feral to spay and release a group of feral cats out where I live....and part of the program is to continue putting out food for the cats after they've been fixed. They are beautiful cats...but they just cannot be socialized enough to be pets. The original mom was just abandoned and kept having kittens...and she's the most feral of all.

  • @Alysaria The problem with TNR is that you end up with massive cat colonies in the thousands, and the animals are still not living a good life, even when fed. Feeding them also brings in large wildlife like coyotes and skunks, which are then assaulted by humans to 'protect the cats', no matter it is their home. The cats themselves also act as a delicious lure for larger predators. Feeding the ferals also does not deter them from hunting native species.

  • @Raditzwyvern The TNR program is meant to keep the colonies from getting any bigger. One stray female cat can have up to 4 litters per year, and even if all of the kittens don't survive to adulthood, the ones that do are going to breed as well...an adolescent cat as young as 5 months can have kittens (not healthy, but possible). While TNR isn't ideal, neither is letting a group of feral cats breed themselves into overpopulation.

  • @Raditzwyvern so what would you suggest? kill the feral cats? its not their fault... we are the ones that made the problem to begin with. you cant force an adult feral cat to become a pet. we cant even handle the number of pet cats/kittens in shelters let alone the number of ferals. feral kittens have a good chance of living a life with people, but feral adults are just not as adaptable.

  • @dehbee As horrible as it sounds, I do advocate painless euthanasia as opposed to years of suffering in the wild, followed by a premature, often horrible death for ferals. Yes, it's not their fault, but TNR is cruel in my eyes. You end up with cat colonies in the thousands, and both the cats and wildlife suffers. I love cats, but I think because this is a problem humans have created, we have to be willing to make the hard choices sometimes to be kind to those we wish to help.

  • @Raditzwyvern i dont believe an animal should be put to death because we made them a problem. to say cats suffer from being out in "the wild" is kind of retarded. all animals living in the wild suffers from what nature throws at them. to say a feral animal should be put to death because its suffering in the wild is like saying we should euthanize all wild animals because nature itself is merciless. also, be realistic. cats over populate the world. trying to kill them isnt going to do anything.

  • @Raditzwyvern "unhappy lives"? If they live in a concrete jungle then maybe.

If they live in such as in the video you'd have to read their cats minds in order to say that.

  • @TitanNV28Coral I have personally taken in ferals from farms, or the wild, as well as those from cities. The cats are generally infested with parasites such as worms, covered in scars from fighting and predators if not outright missing bits from frostbite, have serious tooth problems, and other ailments. Many are starving, hence why they brave humans for the promise of food like in the video. Ferals usually only live 2-3 years, unlike house cats that can live for 15-20 years.

  • OMG can I join your team o___O

  • @ashleycarnadie You can definitely volunteer at the sanctuary! Visit our website BigCatRescue*org for more info :)

  • @BigCatRescue ahaha, I'm kidding. I can't do that, I don't live in the US and sadly I have no plans of going there anytime soon... :)

  • For a group so set on keeping nature the way it is for big cats, the fact that you release the neutered and spayed ferals back into the wild speaks a lot of being hypocritical. Gee thanks.

  • @mannequinPANIC Feral Cats are Wild Animals. Releasing them back into their habitat. Is in no way Hypocritical.

  • @MorteFetish But they're not FROM here. They were brought here from Europe like rats or other domestics, they don't belong in the wild here.

  • you guys should do video updates on Kringle and update them to youtube :D (if you said I must habe not been paying attention..)

  • @Jaylin156 We will post updates to our facebook page, but don't plan to upload them to our youtube channel :)

  • u guys are awsome!! i hope that kitty cat gets a new home!

  • Seriously? People asking why feral cats need to be neutered? People drop off unwanted cats and kittens "wherever" all over the US. Animal shelters are constantly euthanizing bc enough homes can never be found for all strays or drop-offs. I'd never consider keeping an un-neutered animal. But I had neighbors who did! They churned out almost 20 kittens a year for 17 yrs! I am amazed anyone questions neutering after all the years of publicity about high number of animals needing good homes.

  • spay and play: responsibility and stop suffering for who? in one side I see Big Cat Rescue and other organizations complaining about how animals (cats) are vulnerable to to possible extinction and how humans are consistently keep interfering with nature. yet on the other hand I see promotions for spaying and neutering. feral cats have been there for a long time. which means they are adapted to their surroundings. we may worry but how does it make it right for us to just go and sterilize them?

  • @everything1420 they are not a native species, and in fact are incredibly destructive to their new habitats, they breed extremely quickly (about two litters per year), and soon overwhelm the food supply of their new area.

  • question: why do they have to neutered or spayed? why not just vaccinate them and leave them be?

  • @everything1420 With an estimated 50 million stray cats in the USA, destroying native wildlife populations and spreading disease and most importantly in a lot of cases suffering/living miserable lives. Trapping and fixing strays/ferals at least helps slow down the problem.

  • Kisses to Kringle and thanks to all of you at BCR!

  • You guys do amazing work, keep it up!

  • Awww thanks for making this video for Kringle and helping so many big and small cats!

  • awwwwwwwwwwww so cute

  • I'm glad to see that BCR is helping small cats as well! Also promoting spay/neuter - dual purpose for the video. Great idea!!

  • Purrrr

  • Getting kidnapped, sterilized and imprisoned doesn't sound like much of a christmas present to me.

  • @cthun934 Well how does taking care of 6 kittens in the wilderness on your own sound?

  • @Chaiteaist The cats are probably much happier fending for themselves in the wild, without human help.

That small one that was lowest in the pecking order - he'll be higher up when he gets older and bigger.

  • @Chaiteaist it doesn't sound like anything. they are feral cats. which means there have been generations of them living that way. yes, we feel bad for them and worry for what might happen to them in harsh winters. but the fact that there are still feral cats, shows that they are somewhat adapted to the environment. I really don't see why we have to stop them from breeding.

  • @cthun934 A short-term bit of suffering for a cat in the form of trapping and fixing them is nothing compared to the lifetime of warm beds, good food, and cuddles they'll get when they're adopted out.

  • @vividwings Captivity is the worst thing you can do to a feral animal. Just because you want a cat around doesn't mean it wants to be around you.

And "fixing" it certainly isn't what its genes want.

  • @cthun934 You are correct. People do it for the people, not for the cats.

The cats just live their lives....

  • @cthun934 With an estimated 50 million stray cats in the USA, destroying native wildlife populations and spreading disease and most importantly in a lot of cases suffering/living miserable lives. Trapping and fixing strays/ferals at least helps slow down the problem. and adopting Kringle the kitten out to a loving home with vet care and a god diet will definitely sound good to her!

  • @BigCatRescue it's up to the cats to decide if they're living miserable lives, it's not up to you.

And how can you tell if a cat likes captivity or freedom better? They're not capable of communicating that to you.

In fact, most pets spend their entire lives trying to figure out a way to escape out the front door or a window.

  • @cthun934 You say most pets, but of the hundreds of pets I have encountered (including my own) I've NEVER seen one that was spending its life trying to figure out how to escape. My cat spends most of his time sleeping on my bed and hanging out with his people. I've seen him try to get outside once in 10 years and this is a cat that lived as a feral for quite a while before I took him in.

  • @cthun934 thanks for the PETA propaganda. My cat never tries to escape and hates the outdoors. I've tried taking her in the back yard with me and she just goes straight back to the door to be let back inside. Cats like to stick to their own territory whether it's inside or outside.

  • BEST VIDEO, ALMOST MADE ME CRY, SUCH A GREAT THING <3

  • I adopted a puppy yesterday. She's amazing and there's no words to describe how good it feels to save a life. <3

  • @chibipals123 Congratulations on your puppy if only more people would think like you do :)

  • @chibipals123 Good job!!

  • Everytime I watch your videos I always end up crying. Cats are dear to my heart and it just overwhelms me with happiness of the things you do. :)

  • Nice gesture, BCR. You guys rock! :-)

  • Cats have survived for thousands of years without any help. Saving that kitty looks like a pretty arrogant move to me. And the capturing of the second one, makes me suspect a hidden agenda. I do not approve your conduct.

  • @Nitrozzy7 - one look at your channel makes me suspect YOUR agenda.

    Sniper training, indeed. :-/

Your comment is BS. Now run along and play. Go assassinate someone from 1,000 yards away, like a good sniper coward.

  • @nameofthepen Don't tempt me. :P

  • @Nitrozzy7 Cats are domestic animals since thousands of years ago. They're not sabertooth. So being paranoid, suspicious, self righteous and indifferent to animal suffering is better? "I do not approve your conduct" then.

  • @Nitrozzy7 With an estimated 50 million stray cats in the USA, destroying native wildlife populations and spreading disease and most importantly in a lot of cases suffering/living miserable lives. Trapping and fixing strays/ferals at least helps slow down the problem.

  • @BigCatRescue "Problem"? If you have a "problem" with stray cats there are far more efficient ways to deal with it. But I could hardly pin a cat on the pest side of the board. As for the "miserable" bit, there are better ways to improve. And removing a cat from its territory isn't the best. You should know that.

Now, you have a very special place in my heart. But healthy-looking cats with behaviour issues, can't be feral. You may have mistaken a domesticated cat for a feral.

  • @BigCatRescue I was told that you can't get a cat fixed once it has gone into heat, Because it will start cancer in the cat... so i would love to get mine fixed but i don't want her to get cancer.. that is how my father died and i don't want my catto go thru the same thing

  • Thats a great idea! Its so nice to have a channel like this.

  • I live in Pinellas county and have been to your facility. I do love it there! I am just curious which Humane Society you go to? When I spoke to the local one about trapping and then releasing feral cats after I paid to have them spayed/neutered (I had a neighbor that was feeding them all) I was told I was not allowed to do so, it's cruel to the cats. Do you have a contact I could have that would allow me to do so without penalizing me?

  • @ladykatzenjammer The Humane Society of Tampa Bay, visit their website for more info :)

  • @BigCatRescue Thanks, I'll have a look and see if someone there can speak to the Pinellas branch about this. I don't mind paying, but I can't afford to have animal control come to my home and ask me to produce a bunch of cats I released or they'll take mine away from me (that was what I was told would happen if I tried to do catch/release anyway, if I had too many animals in my name they'd come inspect my home and demand I produce them all). Thanks for the tip!

  • i spayed all my cats n some strays.. i want the tour pass but i live in Malaysia.. :/ huuuu

  • Good luck, and Good work.

  • Thank you for helping small cats too. I've trapped feral as well but the last time I took a mother cat and her kittens into a shelter they decided to put the mother down. It was very upsetting and I haven't done it again.

  • awww kringle <3

  • i like this but i will never ever get my cats balls cut off like how would you like your's cut off it called being responsable my cat is turn three in April and does not spray so MUAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAH and if you have a problem with a cat spray SUE VINIGER it kills the amonia

  • @skechmasters By not neutering your cat, you are contributing to the millions of animals being put down everyday.

  • @noxiouseels NOOOOOOOO cuz my cat fucks nothing except dreams

  • My family used to do the same thing with feral cats in our neighborhood. Having them spayed, or neutered, then releasing them. Keep up the good work, guys.

  • I absolute love kringle. Too bad I cannot have more cats in house and I am far too away. I would defiantly take her if I could. Amazing idea to help to small cats aswell. I will keep watching you next year and cannot wait hat will happen in BCR! ;D

  • Good people! :) the world needs more of you.
