@DramCommentorPivot Well, some of there songs are scary. I mean I Love them, but when I am listening to their music and all of a sudden a scary song comes on I realize it's night time and I'm alone, that's a Iil scary. :/
It's spelled Deity, but that's one of four ways to transliterate Russian. When spelled like that, it looks like the English word deity. So confused for so long ...
@nexusparanoia So what is the name actually mean? I thought is was english for Deity, but Russian? And the lyrics to the song are quite strange as well. Idk I am confused :(
@Nigel1792 Deti (cyrillic: Дети) means 'children'. There are really four official ways to transliterate Russian. Using this method, you get deity, which is an actual English word. Maybe it was done on purpose. However, given that Kyo has Russian tattoos (not mafia ones...) and this CD has a Russian influence, it's safe to see that. Still, it was confusing for a bit.
@nexusparanoia I see now, thanks man, I speak some russian but yeah thanks for teaching me a new word, I'll have to look into it myself, sounds interesting.
well this song title is some sort of two words' combination: english word deity and russian word dety (or how is that written) meaning children, and what more, the picture in the next page after this songs lyrics shows pregnant woman (o.0?) i dunno what is Kyo meaning with children in this song...hmm
@SuperMikaru I wouldn't go so far as to say they commonly use Russian. I think this is the only song that actually uses the language, since Vinushka is a word that Kyo made up.

I like the little tune in this... Brahms. I didn't know that they were classical fans. xD Good for them. It makes the music all the better.

Kyo has always had a fascination with Russian culture. The tattoos on his fingers are in Russian.

@kaosumi I'm really just curious, but how is his pronunciation?
waterdolphin777 2 years ago
@waterdolphin777 he say it with japanese accent, that's why the words u can hear not so correctly. If translate words on english, it's will be
The dizziness, torture, victim, the apostle, the God, a pain, be born, try, blood, a zero

Diru commonly uses Russian in their lyrics, especially in Gauze. Theres bit in Uroboros too, as Vinushka is a russian word.

Sorry I confused the languages. They also use german, so i'll change that to they commonly use bits of other languages in their older song lyrics.
Sorry ^^;
