Had these same people been brought up in India they would believe the Hindu religious story. Had they been brought up in a muslim country they would believe the muslim religion. I saw this movie back in the theater, when it was first released in 1979, and it was rated "G." I thought "GP" was eliminated back in the late 1960's? Can anybody help?
As usual the film-makers ignore the likelihood that because crime is a young man's game, and because the average lifespan in that time was much shorter than ours, the two thieves crucified with Jesus were probably teenagers.
