no,i have a warren haynes 58 reissue, 3,000,a 07 59 reissue 3,600 a sg vos 2,000 a hummingbird 2,000, yes i can afford good gibsons, but the page no2 will 7,000 to 15,000 for the vos and aged and aged singed, i will not pay that much for a les paul,but many guys will

@43bugman i doubt it. i guess it's not as popular as the number one. it's still on the website. jimmy's other guitars were gone in months. it's almost a whole year and number 2 is still on the website. plus there's a guy on youtube who has those jimmy reissues, but he almost never plays the number 2. dunno, maybe it doesn't sound as good or something.

i mean really, fuck gibson guitars. that overpriced shit sucks so bad. you know it's overpriced too, a les paul is really barely worth $900. And don't talk to me about the builders earning their pay, they earn their pay by fixing the mistakes made by the factory workers in china. Yes, gibson outsources, which diminishes the quality, which in turn is a total rip for what the asking price is.

iv have begged gibson since 1996 to help me get one of the page les paul's never any help or even a letter my dad died in jan of 08 i called gibson 4 help so i could play a memorial 4 my dad no help still it sux way bad gibson is all 4 you when you spend 5000.00 bucks but dont want a thing to do with you if you r broke trust me i know iv tryed everything to get them to help me but no help oh yeah i still to this day have not got to play one last one 4 my dad .

Yup instant collector indeed. Gibson made like 30 of these JP models and shipped all of them to Jimmy Page's house to sign and play each one. Only the top best sounding 25 that Jimmy chose were shipped out for sale. Yes, Page played each one of those 25 les pauls, that is why the sold at about $25,000 and now it goes for over $100,000.

Jimmy's #2 didn't have spray like that... for exact replica's they Gibson suck ... I bet it doesn't even have the switches under the pickguard either.

he didn't have that switching under there in the 70's so I hope it doesn't.

I think the respray is supposed to simulate neck breaks and repairs maybe? Or perhaps when #2 had it's neck shaved to #1 type profile they oversprayed it?

I think they should actually break the necks and glue them back together, then you could leave it propped up against your cabinet for a minute or two instead of running around looking for a place to lay it flat lol.
