Actually, you need more System Admins for Linux, since it is a lot more complicated than Windows. Mac OS X has it's own share of problems, especially when trying to connect to an Exchange Server and a File Server that are Windows-based. If we could all afford and use Macs, things may be better, but you'd still need someone to replace the hardware when it does fail or troubleshoot things on the Server-side when they die. Each server on your network runs crucial services that sysadmins maintain.
@grooviant We should just use macs, i mean when they get a problem at least you know you can't fix it so you shoudl just accept it, but with windows you have to hire admins becuse they have retarded monkeys working for them...
@happygamestvfun1 You have no idea how a network is run. How will a program replace a hard drive? How will it install new racks? How will it configure the various server programs? Please, use Google so you can at least feign intelligence
@thatstek Iv never had to do any of that, and how do you think a robot operates? via anologe electronics? noo it's digital software... meaning 1's and 0's
@happygamestvfun1 You may not have had to, but grooviant is right - not using Windows only results in needing /fewer/ admins. The things thatstek mentioned need doing if you're dealing with more than one user. The majority of problems arise when you deal with networks rather than individual machines, you see, and that doesn't get any easier on a mac than it is on any other flavour of Unix (eg BSD, Solaris, Linux...). It's still easier than on Windows, but you still need an admin.
@thatstek How will a program replace a hard drive? (SAN attached storage and robot type assembly lines with spare disk to swap it out with?) How will it install new racks? (Again I'd suggest robot type assembly lines that move it into place) How will it configure the various server programs? (Artificial Intelligence (Indians))
a keyboard to the face will resolve the issue

This is hysterical, all the sysadmins should go on strike! It'll be like Atlas Shrugged but with sysadmins.
