Hey, I'm a driver and I have nothing against cyclists, although I will admit that when I'm on a tight, uphill, winding road, with traffic coming the other way (which is a road I travel every day) and a cyclist on my side, it's slightly annoying.
I carry a special tool to deal with assholes like this. It's a section of dowel rod with a sharp nail pressed into the end. As they pass, or as I catch up, I puncture a tire or two with it. It fits in the pump holder. Very discreet.

If you approach the roundabout from the A4 into Reading from Castle Hill your in the right lane at the bottom of the hill. What the fuck are you doing hogging the middle lane of the roundabout OS the police station. The inside and the middle lane both lead down to the Oracle not the A33.

The position the cyclist is riding in is exactly as taught in "bikeability" training, & is therefore not only legal but recommended. Your ignorance of this is worrying, especially if you cycle. I drive over 50000 miles a year and cycle a fair few too. As a driver never had a row with a cyclist and visa versa. Guess there's only so much you learn in "Bikeability Training"

1: The Institute of Advanced Motorists advises cyclists to take the centre of the lane where it would be too narrow or dangerous for cars to to overtake.
2: Roads are paid for through general taxation, council tax, income tax, VAT etc. ALL of which cyclists also pay. That little disc in your windscreen is VEHICLE Excise Duty, in other words CAR tax. It is a tax on using a car and on emissions, it is NOT a tax on using roads. 'Road Tax' was abolished in 1937 by Winston Churchill.

@ramiekennedy Most roads here don't have cycle lanes, a lot of cycle lanes have obstacles (ie parked cars) and debris, as well as not always leading to where the cyclist wants to go. These people don't want to share the roads, they are like little kids throwing their toys out of the pram. But that will not stop me, and many other like me, from cycling on the road.
