Her dogs were the most AMAZING intelligent, controlled, trained, social, athletic, happy, powerful and attentive dogs I've met so far in my life. Without her passed on knowledge I would never get my own dog today...
I have a pit and a huskey when they play fight my pit lets the huskey bite him naw on him etc.Iknow he could really hurt the huskey but hes so passive.the nicest dog ive ever had.
They should definitly be police dogs, they seem perfect, and I think it would definitly help with their image and they will be with good training and responsible breeders.

Get a rottey (a better Nazi breed dog that kept its aggression.) If you want a dog to hold an intruder get a Mastiff unless you want to be sued because it was trained as a Park Rangers dog to catch poachers and hold them without shakeing their head and tearing some1s body up. if you have true APBT they should not be "playing" with other dogs. im a big believer that you can only MANAGE dog agression but you cannot eliminate it because its genetic. i think the risk of APBT's "playing" with other dogs is to much of a liability unless the dogs grow up together or have a good tolerance for one another.

What you said is PARTLY true. Character traits are genetic in dogs, HOWEVER, dogs will only use it's breed specific personality, if it doesn't know anything else.
Example: A Rottweiler was breed to guard and protect (for the most part), so instinctivly it will be hostile towards strangers, BUT if you properly train and socailize the Rottweiler, then it will know that they won't need to be aggressive towards strangers.

Or some company breed. But rott isnt for you. You will do a favor to yourself and to rott by chose one of these breeds and dont destroy this race of dog.
@Reptornicus That is a very good point I agree, but many of the uses in certain breeds of dogs have changed. The pitbull for example: as far as I know it was breed for a means of entertainment, and used in many fights, hence the reason for the issues in the breed. But now, that's looked down upon and against the law. Why should that breed be destroyed because of that? Humans are the ones who are at fault, so it would be wrong to punish the dogs.

@KampfKuschler My pitbull knows drop indef. The first thing I taught her, any dog that know's the tug of hold command needs to know how to drop it. Just as a saftey precaution. I love my pit and I understand how every dog accounts for the breed, raise your pits well ppl.
