Kaka hasn't got worse. It's the spanish style of play that makes him look average. In Italy there would be 7 defenders for milan and he would get the ball on the counter attack with acres of space to run into, like this goal here, and would be amazing. In Spain it's open, attacking football where short, sharp passing is the way to play which does not suit his game.

He has the ball played to his feet by the best passers in the game. And I hate Xavi's constant glorification. Watch a Barca game and you'll see it is rare he hits a pass over ten yards.
