Well i'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and just say that you most likely have his tone nailed, your guitar tone can change drastically when translating from your room to the internet. Your a great guitar player, good chops. Maybe just stick a mic in front of the cabinet. Quite the little stockpile of gear you have too! keep it up man. anyway fuckin rock on,

FINALLY someone who understands, i say all the time, you can't judge tone from what you hear when its being picked up my a headset microphone haha, its bad enough it being with that mic thats not even near the cab, but even with a good mic, the angle and positioning still matters aswell a great deal, so yeah, thanks for all the compliments. /,,/
@MobRulesAll uhh, last thing i heard his guitar tech Grady was still alive :S i never said i would get his tone exactly the same, but for the most part its there, hense all the gear. its why i like playing with the settings, its a good challenge for me to get as close as possible, even though i know i can NEVER get it 100% plus im still missing one piece of the puzzle.
@deanml1986 I'm pretty sure Dime sounded like Dime on any gear he played on. As well as you are going to sound like you on any amp. But still you are very close. Its enough to make the hairs on the back of my neck to stand up.....

basically i never told anyone that this IS my tone that i use, i simply like his tone so i went for the gear, and since i like collecting vintage and rare gear, i couldnt resist, its for personal use only. also if you see in my other videos im always using a completely different tone or amp. i like to play songs as they are to the recording, i do have my own sound.

@Ablutophobic i also have a Priest poster, a 'Tallica poster and many other bands. Also did you not notice the ADA MP-1 preamp on my rack? The mxr 31 band.. Dime didnt use them did he? NO. also been using a marshall jcm 900 for the past 2 years, just sold it.. and if you see my other videos i aquired a Laney AOR head.
Point is, i use all that gear FAR more often than the Randalls. I have my own tone with the AOR. if i wanted to be like Dime, dont you think i wouldve died my beard red aswell? lol

@svojyla thanks! but i wouldnt bother comparing those amps, the RH150 G3 is a more modern metal amp with one preamp valve driven by a mosfet power section, so its naturally different than the RG, which is pure solid state, also note the RH has enough gain for metal without having to boost it, whereas youd need a pedal and/or eq in front of the RG if you want enough gain. /,,/

@svoyla ah well if you want Dimebag's brutal chainsaw gain then you won't get it from the G3, basically its a completely different amp, if you see an RG80ES or a RG100ES on ebay at all, go for one of them instead and just smack an overdrive pedal in the front of it and it will scream! you can pull the treble knob out aswell which adds more gain but it lowers the volume and doesnt sound as sharp on the low end. but seriously you will hear a hint of Dimebag tone even with one pedal boosting it \m/
@agusbetu97 either you didn't watch more than 30 seconds of it or you're just that stupid. Listen around the 1:00 minute mark and you can hear him release pressure from the string which makes a different pitch and tone than what the song is played in. This clearly aint fake.

@SuperAragorn666 good question, but the answer is no, that guitar is really well balanced. the reason im holding the neck is because i usually always hold the necks on all my guitars, just incase i swing round and they knock something, i just try to be really carefull with them, its a very comfortable guitar to play for the size.

@MyCatLovesMetal the one you get with the guitar IS licensed, however this one is an original which i swapped. the licensed stays in tune pretty well, but i swapped it out mainly because the whammy bar would never tighten on properly, it always had a slight wobble to it. the original just feels alot more sturdy to me \m/

Well on a regular with the 440 on it you just change it to 435 to tune 1/4 down

@thetrendkiller420 oh ye, you could very well be right there, since i dont use tuners i am probably wrong haha, i ALWAYS use the dean when jamming pantera so i just tune to the first note i hear usually, and tune the whole guitar from there, il probably get a tuner when i start giging though.
still hardly noticeable difference lol.
