  • look at these morons in the back looking at him

  • @Newbpwng They are good people, wondering about what I was doing (no one does such things in that gym).

  • @korehkt Thank you, korehkt!

  • WTF! Michael Jackson is still alive!:O

  • Hmmm... very cool... You are about 40 years old, right? How do you keep your face skin and body skin so clear?

  • @thecalledmelos Thank you. I don't stay in the Sun and I don't eat too many carbohydrates (they ruin your skin) and I sleep good every night and I hydrate my face every day with an organic cream.

    Take cream.

  • @antokindness Thanks for the reply. The foremost reason I asked is because I have a skin condition called "keratosis pilaris" for as long as I can remember (it's genetic)... so I've never known what is to have normal skin. On your carbs recommendation, right now I'm trying to get into the raw food diet, and because of this I'm eating lots of fruits (around 15 whole fruits a day)... Are the fruit carbs bad for the skin too?

  • @thecalledmelos Ok, listen: 15 fruits a day are just too many carbohydrates as well: fruit is good but no more than one single fruit a meal (unless you have worked-out and you have to eat a little more, say three fruits at once).

For your skin problem, try dermoabrasion or some strong peeling done by a dermatologist or aesthetic physycian (or scrub your skin once a week and then use a good cream for ipercheratosis to be bought in pharmacy).

    Take care.

  • @antokindness I'm eating so much fruit because I quit caffeine and it seems that eating fruit makes my energy levels stable through the day; it's also tasty and easy on my stomach. Would you reference me a diet that helps with energy levels? (p.s: my workout regime is bodyweight exercises and 3 miles of joggin 4 days a week, so I would like target nutrition for this)

  • @thecalledmelos To keep energy high, you have to eat more carbos on your running days (pasta or more than one fruit a meal, both at the meal before your running session and at the one right after); keep your carbos intake lower on your non-running days. That's all IMO.

  • you are a beautiful person, on a scale of 1 to 10 your english is about 9.5 (better than mine and i'm a native english speaker), and not only is the information you present in this video of the utmost importance but you are also a tremendous inspiration to me.

    BLESS YOU, AND THANK YOU!!

  • @erosamuk You are very very fair and I don't deserve this, but i'm glad you appreciate my videos. I wish you the best, my friend!

  • hey buddy great work,,,,,,,,,,,

  • @TheSuperlahiru Thank you, man!

  • As always, your videos are remarkable and with this, you've addressed a problem I've suffered from and been very irritated with myself about for years. I've been training as advised for only a couple weeks and already have experienced a marked improvement. You don't know how much this means, after 7 years of difficulties.

I'd like to continue to work towards a full recovery and wonder (here's my question) are all the relevant sub stabilizers are addressed in this exercise? Are there stretches?

  • @thewhitebarrywhite I appreciate this, buddy. The shoulders' RENOVATORS are the subscapularis, the dentatus anterior and the lower trapezius: here I showed a good way to keep the subscapularis firing while the usual way to perform the bench press or the external rotations doesn't make this possible. Check about other ways to improve on these muscles (on the net...), if you want to better your shoulders further. Regards.

  • i have cheek fat,can you give me some tips to reduce it?

  • @MysteryC019 Eat less (usually, cheek fat is the first to go when you cut your food intake down: start reducing your calories intake by 500 Kcal a day).

  • @antokindness you mean i will experience having cheek fat first before lost it?

  • @MysteryC019 I mean cheek fat is the first to disappear when one jumps on diet.

  • Hi anton, no videos for a long time ...you okay ?

BTW , why Sanskrit 'tat twam asi'........'that you are'......been to India ?

  • @mandar0887 Hi, mandar, in a week another video would be on its way, about legs training and back pain.

Tat twam asi as my channel title would represent a finger-pointing-to-the-Moon word about our nature, with all that follows from that. Happy white holidays!

  • @antokindness no white x-mas here .....in Australia ...wet and humid.

  • @mandar0887 I wish you well the same.

  • i love you accent!!!!!

  • Hi antonio how are you How often do you work on your abs and should you work on other muscle groups on same day ?Also what is your nex video going to be about.

    Una buona giornata giovani uomo

  • @mark1qt Hi, Mark, I'm fine, thank you. I train my abs every day: if you would do the same, train them at the end of your workout or in a different moment of the day (as I do).

Next video will be a workout in my gym (maybe for legs) with some notes about nutrition on the annotations.

    Thanks for asking.

  • Very good video, I was missing that workout where you put the towel under your arm and use the weight in that outward motion.I hurt that very muscle doing close gripped chin/pull ups now i understand why. The muscle must of been too weak, very appreciated!

  • @lazerkill010 Thank you very much indeed, man!

  • u are a man rite?

  • @RyanEnty Rite.

  • can your training shown help in building bone mass?

  • @MysteryC019 Evenjust walking up the stairs can do that.

  • @MysteryC019 Even just walking up the stairs can do that.

  • What the fuck is that? Wearing fucking make up?

  • @Paflos It's just a video and I'm not wearing nothing but my eyes and my face. Thanks for your (rushed) comment.

  • Is it possible to get ripped like you only through calisthenics? other than pull ups, chin ups, and push ups - what else do you recommend for upper body exercise with calisthenics?

    thanks man.

  • @riem630 Even better than me.

I would recommend you buy a couple of dumbbells of 15-20 Kg each so you can better train your shoulders.

  • In this video you look like you lost weight...

  • @riem630 You're right (I go changing my diet very often to find out what works better).

  • @Rzink1 I don't see any problem to be solved, man. Small wrists and thin fingers are a plus.

  • Wacko is back. 'This Is It' i mean him. no joke

  • hello,i have problem with cheek fat,how can i lose it?

  • @R8zink The same way you lose fat on every other side of your body: by eating less (quit simple sources of carbohydrates as pasta, pizza, white bread, juices, cokes, for a month and REPLACE THEM WITH ONE FRUIT A MEAL AND PLENTY OF VEGS). Take care.

  • @antokindness how about protein intake that should i?

  • @R8zink The recommended daily allowance for athletes is about 1.6-1.8 g per Kg.

  • you're 37? you barly look 17. amazing body

  • @fightingfoo2 I'm 40. I thank you very much for spending your time at writing this comment, man; wish you well.

  • @antokindness Really? wow. You might look 20 by the time you draw your pension then. Incredible

  • @fightingfoo2 Here in Italy, no pension in sight anymore...thank you for your compliments, my friend.

  • you remind me of bruno.

  • @ekubalusabyan Inverted rows are very good for your middle back: pull-ups are very good for your latissimus dorsi: ideally one would do both, but it's better doing the former only than doing nothing.

  • @ekubalusabyan I don't split my body so to make three workout a week, although it can be a good way to train: I train every day and I focus on chest then on the back then on my legs, varying the time on which I train them (one week I do chest-back-legs and the other chest-legs-back-legs...).

  • PS when I say full half-circles with weighted cable cross-over machine I specifically perform them with straight arm from the stretched out point (arm stretched back at different angles, sometimes stretched back to the max almost, as a starting point) Does it sound ok? So far it's been improving my shoulder flexibility greatly

  • @xanyxxxx Keep on then, if you feel good, my friend!

  • An from shoulder pain sufferer (impingment)... it seems the more u stretch shoulders (after warm up) the better it gets...shoulder circles and dislocates with cord and stick....bodyweight exercises while hanging/swinging...rotator cuff maintenance...also full half-circles on cable crossover machine (*weighted* to 15 reps) in all planes and all angles...so far shoulders were improving...(all of it done after acute stage is over)...hand walking on parallel bars...Does it sound good to you?

  • @xanyxxxx Lately there are some new insights about this: all you're talking about can be useful BUT stranghtening your subscapularis and dentatus anterior and lower trapezius IS the best way to keep your shoulders safe.

  • do you recommend drinking chocolate milk after a work out? should their be sugar in the chocolate milk or should i just use cocoa and mix it with milk?

thanks in advance! - always appreciate your advice :)

  • @riem630 Yes, I do: but do not add any sugar to it for it already tastes so good as it is. Cocoa is not as good.

  • @antokindness but doesn't it have a lot of sugar? chocolate milk has a much sugar as a chocolate candy bar! i think it's 26 grams of sugar per 2 tablespoons.

How many cups do you recommend drinking? and do you drink it yourself after every workout?

  • @riem630 You're right: but I talk about the real chocolate-milk (the one sold already apt to drink, without any powder to add to the milk): powders aren't that good: The chocolate milk I drink is very similar to plain milk, but it's a little richer in proteins.

    Bye.

  • @antokindness LOL I think you guys are talking about

2 different things: American chocolate milk and European chocolate

milk....American is full of plain sugar it ain't like slightly sweetened cocoa

    with milk

  • @xanyxxxx Right.

  • is that MJ...

  • Thanks for giving us this useful information. One thing, about putting the foam roll so high up into the armpit, I found on another video another doctor who said not to put it so high because "it tends to elevate the shoulder", Can you explain? The video is here watch?v=stfxHs-pI_M

P.S I can't get over the make up, it looks so wrong to me lol, sorry.

  • @funk192 Thank you for your comment: the shoulder shoudn't be elevated by the foam or pillow: the foam or pillow shoud only keep the arm at 30-40° between the humerus and the chest, so to make the subscapularis fire freely during the external rotation movement.

    Take care.

  • du opfer

wer das jetzt gelesen hat wird in drei bis fünf minuten sterben es ist KEIN witz bei so etwas macht man keine witze heil ---88---

  • @tjtrng: thanks for your trust, man: the best way to have lean biceps is to eat less!. Do pull-ups and frenchies (pull-ups with palms towards your face at shoulders' width) and I think this is the best way to make your biceps beautiful (not to mention trying and learning to perform one-arm-chin-ups...)

    Regards.

  • Hey antokindness, where did you learn about preventing shoulder impingement and all your other knowledge? I'm very interested in this sort of stuff, did you get a degree in exercise physiology or something along those lines? Thanks man, great videos.

  • @jokie2100: dear sir, I'm a sports-medicine doctor. I can't help but put in practice anything I learn, in relation to any aspect of life.

    Take care.

  • @HowAboutSomeTruth1

that does look like makeup ..............

i remember he said he is a doctor

    a plastic surgeon?

  • hi my dear friend, i didnt knew where to ask my following question, so id rather thought to put it up here.

so, when u have trained abdominals, a bodyfat around 17-18 and u feel them and see them at good light all fine. is there any sense to train them anymore? i mean, the can grow maybe bigger a bit?! but do they also get harder or more defined?

    greetings.

  • @joniijpn: Good point: I'd rather lose some fat to reach say 10% of body fat mass so that your abs woll show better (training them will surely make them "better" anyway).

    Regards, mate.

  • maybe a video called "diet, tips & tricks" soon? I know all the basics info, but i'm sure you can help with some "secrets" :)

On the other way, I know this is just a hobby for most of us, but when you have time I will appreciate this kind of infos ( and i'm sure i'm not the only one).

  • @mcfeely76: thanks for your suggestion: I am to do something along this line soon.

    Take care.

  • @xanyxxx : this great way to start a training session should be mandatory everywhere: it starts up all the stabilizers at the right moment, i.e when they have to prevent unuseful movement between any joint-part.

Thanks for your very interesting comments, man.

  • @xanyxxx : I suspect you all had a very low incidence of shoulder problems up there in your land.

  • @xanyxxx : good point for people who like Elliptical.

    Thanks for your advices, man.

  • @xanyxxx I woudn't recommed it: any "extreme" movement can endanger our joints in the long run.

No one is going to replace your body at 40ies or 50 ies with some new model :)

  • Hi Antonio, I different video! I can tell you really know what you are speaking about. I just finished workout and found this new video on. Good to aviod injuries. Perhaps you could do a similar video at some point concerning good nutrition for muscles ,ligaments and tendons. Very interesting. I use Avalon Organics products for aftershave. Very good! Your skin is in good shape too I think! :)

  • @Samson7able: Surely am I to do some other videos about many little troubles...

Thanks for your comment, my friend! Thanks for your compliments too! (keep on caring about your face)

  • @HowAboutSomeTruth1: I don't need any make-up (lucky me), but if I would ever find it useful to improve on my appearance i would definitely make use of it: do you think this would diminish my one-arm-chin-up?

  • wow

  • Informazioni eccellenti ma sottofondo fastidiosissimo

  • @Fizniperal : scusami, non pensavo venisse così.

    Grazie comunque, ciao

  • @antokindness

    Figurati :)

Perchè non apri un sito dedicato al fitness? In italiano (ma anche in inglese) sono pochi quelli di qualità!

  • @Fizniperal Grazie dell'incoraggiamento.

    Ciao e complimenti.

  • I like the cushion under the back for the bench press.

  • @proteanview : it allows for a push-ups-like ROM even while doing bench-press.

  • what about dumbell press on the floor to limit our range of motion while doing chest press? i hate bench press and i cen feel my pecs more while i do DB press on the floor. what do you think is it less dangerous than doing bench press on a bench?

  • @canvargun Great exercise: it stops your range of movement at a safe point and keeps on making good effects on chest, triceps and anterior deltoids.

  • @xanyxxx : the safest push-ups take you not much further than the position where your humeri are parallel to the ground: from there on to-floor one can reach just by pinching his scapulae together and not by pushing his chest to the ground (so one saves his joints).

  • @xanyxxx : right!: lifting heavy weights can endanger our joints: the muscles could cope but not so our joints, because at certain degrees of ROM all the weight "crushes" upon those little stabilizing muscles (rotators cuffs muscles) that have to recreate the correct relationship between the major bone segments. Do your rotation at 30° as I showed so to keep the humeral head in place during all the ROM.

  • Thanks for the Info! Great Video!

  • @Kayzaks Don't mention it, dude!

  • hes not 40

  • @ekim474 Right: I'm now living my 41st year of Life, since my birthday was the 19th of March.

  • That was really informative, thank you very much. Those one arm chins were awesome!! Good work, mate :)

  • @sdmf1982 : thanks for your kind words, bud.

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks for the info. On the other way...you don't seem to have extreme muscles but i suspect that you are very powerful.

So, maybe in the future...can you post a short weight train video? I think it will be very interesting.

And last, I know you are 40 years old...but you look like 25 dude. I have nothing but respect for you!

  • @mcfeely76 is he really 40 years old?? no way!

  • @canvargun: I am: as I already said, this is the single motive I keep this channel going...I started this channel with the first displayed video, that was a way to make myself visible to a wonderful girl I cared a lot about and who was far away: now she's my girlfriend (lucky me).

  • @mcfeely76 : I appreciate you respect, man; in the future I will do some other videos from the gym (i.e.: about how to arrive SAFE to perform one-arm-chin-up)

  • great job very informative. But the gym was a little noisey Great to see real one arm chnups. So many people grab their other arm and use it like a rope.

  • @pazios2002 Thank you, man. (next time I wil choose a better moment to film an "only-words" video)

  • thanks for the video mate but a little critic here :)) do this kind of information videos in a silent place i had hard time to understand because of the noise from the background. :) very good info thanks..

  • @canvargun : you're right, it was lunch-time and in Italy many ones go eating and chatting at a gym (they don't train: they pretend to train...).

If something isn't clear and you're curious about something, feel free to ask.

    Regards.

  • Very intriguing advice on how to promote fluid movement. This is going to drastically change how I do push-ups in the future xD.

And thanks for the new video Anto. The way you are is a lot for me to look up to.

  • @MikeDecipher: You are very polite, my friend: thank you very very much!
