The nice thing is that if both of them are shooting at each other the bullets do not reach any of them. It makes a possibility to get near Dante and just hit him with sword. His quick movements are quite frustrating so using this technique may be helpful.
@MATTIEBOYY88 Yep. Plus, if the 2nd fight with Dante was easy, then it would already be a flaw. Dante is an experienced Devil Hunter, and by now he should know what Nero could possibly do. He's not like the other bosses before the fight which were pretty quite easy.

he always kicks my ass 2-3 times on dmc mode before i finally take him down.. but thats what makes it a challenge right ?
