how do i become a contractor do i have to take special courses or major in something particular i n college or go to trade school??

its not a one word answer. it takes time and trust in your customers. you need to become licensed and insured. becoming a good contractor takes years of experience dealing with different customers and different situations. You really need to have an eye for knowing what things will look like before they are done and do everything in your power to make it that way. i hope that helps.
