  • I'm encouraged - my heart rate looks like it is similar to yours. I am 51 with a BMI of 34. I hit 170-175 in my sprints and in my 90 second rest periods I drop to 145-150. I have been doing it for 2 weeks now. I am currently only up to 5 sprints though. It would be interesting to know more about your stats including resting heart rate.

  • Excellent demonstration, does the program requires changing the type of training equipment? Should I switch between elliptical, bike, sprinting, to get maximum effect or does the body does not get “used to”? How do you integrate weight/strength training?

  • Great demonstration Dr, I wish they had these machines at my gym. Sounds like I can adapt to the type of machines they have, based on some of the narrative comments in the video. Thanks for showing what it takes to use the elliptical for Peak 8.

  • @katchum Your heart rhythms are adjusting. Just make sure you are easing into a routine and not trying to hit Dr. Mercola's level as a beginner.

  • have you tried doing the super slow training? instead of this.
