Dennis was fired from maiden, because of musical differences. He wanted Maiden to sound like 10cc and he listened to George Benson and The Eagles. That didn't sit well with Steve harris. Adrian Smith was the man they wanted originally anyway.
wow steve harris would be mad hearing someone kill his great bass line in the song though it is simple but its still awesome not the most techincal maiden but its still good
Al sounds so confused, and he has the nerve to allow himself to be called the original singer of JP, he is an embarrasment, and if he remained in JP they would have never made it out of the early 80's.
Not really, he contributed awful backing vocals to Phantom of the Opera and frankly Dave outshone him in a massive way on the debut. Dennis never wrote much either, Adrian was certainly the man they needed.

This actually sounds very good. Not as great as Iron Maiden, but good nevertheless.

Atkins was the original Judas Priest singer before Halford, while Stratton was an early member of Iron Maiden and a bunch of other NWOBHM bands:)
