hey im trying to get an rsx and im surprisingly close, is it a beter choice over the integra? and what does bolt on mean? im moving from a 1996 camry sport addition (2 doors) which is rated in at 197 hp but i have no idea what it put down to the wheels.

From 2002 to 03, the RSX came with 200hp, then the K20Z1 came out in 04-demise which had 210 then the new sae ratings came out so then the rsx new hp was 201 (the sae rating is with the ac on and some other shit, i might be wrong)

Wow pullies, what the hell is wrong with idiots buying light weight crank pullies, you do realise that REALLY fucks up the harmonics of the motor, and weakens the block. High revving long stroked engines need a fairly heavy crank pully to keep the harmonics within a good margin.
depends on the engine, the 1.8t or vr6. The 12v is not much slower and weighs 300 plus pounds more, and the 24v vr6 ive seen to be faster and still weighs about 300 plus pounds more. The torque the vr6 has over the rsx makes a big difference.

They come with 201hp at the CRANK. So with a 15% drive train loss you get 171hp at the wheels. A Bolt on RSX puts down about 190 to the wheels.

If you can afford it I'd go with the RSX Type S.
A bolt on is a type of modification for the car. Common bolt ons are air intakes, headers, catback exhaust, suspension, etc.
Your Camry may be rated at 197hp but its also heavy as hell.

wow in my rsx im doing 14.2@99.7 and that was before my raceheader and i make 205whp :-D
That is not a GSR it is an LS with a gsr tranny, it had an intake and random bolt ons that do nothing. its now boosted and runs a 13.9 @ 101

nice driveing in the rsx..........NOT lmao and gsr is not mutch slower the the type s i own a 97 gsr at the track im hitting 15 flat give or take with a ton of bolt ons in my rsx im doing 15.1 14.8 all day stock

or ls turbo'd. vtec doenst make a big differencein integras. turbo'd kills stock gsr and typers all day. overrated same torque range and thats wat pulls!!!

yeah i know that kidwas just tlking shit for like 5 months, that was when i was stock too, now i have k-pro engine manegment, intake header, exhaust,and yes ls/vtec FTW
