These men are not war criminals. I was an infantrymen attached to the unit that took over for them in '06 and let me tell you, it was a tough fight. The entire population of the Mulaab District was practically in arms against you. You could expect to be mortared, RPG'd, gernaded, shot at, and/or blown up by an IED every day; morning, noon, and night. Even the smallest of children who were able to communicate were planning coordinated attackes with the enemy on U.S. forces.

My cousin served in Iraq and got wounded by a RPG blast and sent home, he got a 'million dollar' wound. He was in the 101st and I think he would like to see this.
Did he have jump wings? lol yeah I got one of the million dollar wounds only it was from an AK round, one bullet four holes. It sucked more then I can describe from an AK round but from an RPG man I feel sorry for him. I got mine doing something fucken stupid even though I dont regret doing, not one bit. Hey bro, we replaced you guys in Ramadi. 1-9 INF, 2ID. I was there in 2004 as well with the 503rd. Your fighting is something you can be proud of because when we left, Ramadi was turned around 180 degrees. You would never think it was the same place. DavidRepp: What, no love for the Sapper Platoon? Those National Guardsmen ran the show in East Ramadi. Who found all of the weapon caches? The Marines? The 3ID? The 101st? No. It was 28 civilian soldiers who ran back to back missions and still managed to rotate for force pro. Shooting and capturing insurgents is all good, but taking motars, RPGs and IED components out of their hands is what won the city. No love for the work force.

My cousin served in Iraq and got wounded by a RPG blast and sent home, he got a 'million dollar' wound. He was in the 101st and I think he would like to see this.

Did he have jump wings? lol yeah I got one of the million dollar wounds only it was from an AK round, one bullet four holes. It sucked more then I can describe from an AK round but from an RPG man I feel sorry for him. I got mine doing something fucken stupid even though I dont regret doing, not one bit. Although I did get a Silver Star and Purple Heart.

I just want to say thank you to everyone for having interest in this. Getting over 74,000 views now and favorited 227 times is way bigger than I expected when I made this. I hope it gives everyone a great view of the quality of men and women fighting in our Armed Services. There are some other stories as well I have up that I encourage you to look at, like the cooks in Tikrit. It is not as exciting, but those guys did a damn good job.

Hey bro, we replaced you guys in Ramadi. 1-9 INF, 2ID. I was there in 2004 as well with the 503rd. Your fighting is something you can be proud of because when we left, Ramadi was turned around 180 degrees. You would never think it was the same place. It is a pretty safe place now and hopefully it will stay that way.

DavidRepp: What, no love for the Sapper Platoon? Those National Guardsmen ran the show in East Ramadi. Who found all of the weapon caches? The Marines? The 3ID? The 101st? No. It was 28 civilian soldiers who ran back to back missions and still managed to rotate for force pro. Shooting and capturing insurgents is all good, but taking motars, RPGs and IED components out of their hands is what won the city. No love for the work force.
