Yes, she should have shot her hair stylist for THIS video. The hair was too short to be flattering and that oversized, ill-fitting mannish suit was just horrible for such a stylish woman. (The video stylists must have been jumping on the late '80s androgynous bandwagon.)

Corinne Drewery isn't just cute, she's Beautiful with a capital B. When Corinne does that "Oooo-ooo" at 2:49 it gives me chills. Such a terrific voice in such a lovely package.

If you haven't checked them out recently, take a listen to their latest album "Beautiful Mess" from 2008. Some very nice tracks, a few which I consider had more of a more immediate, "street" sort of character to them (compared to their older, more orchestrated, string-laden hits).
Plus, they toured limitedly in the states last year!

Plus the record companies wish they could make money like they did back then. The product back then was better today the product is garbage and the companies are going broke.

The problem is in '87 most videos were still nothing more than promos for music. Michael Jackson was an oddity even back then. Janet Jackson's team of choreographers were just forming in '86 and '87.
Anyway, these guys make their millions in front of a Japanese audience and they could care less about a klutsy dancer.

This was one of the first CD's I've ever bought where I bought it just for one song, but ended up falling in love with all the others too. There isn't a song on this album I don't like. Corinne Drewery is one of the most incredible singers around, bar none. It's a real shame they didn't catch on so much in the US. Oh, well, our loss, I guess.

Yeah, the first time I saw the original video for this, I thought great setting with that outdoor contemporary mansion pool but what a terrible mannish suit and too-short haircut for such a beautiful singer.
For a couple of music videos that show Corinne in her stylishly best, check out "Forever Blue" and "Waiting Game" here on YouTube. They really highlight her sense of fashion style and grace.
She's a natural - after all, she was planning on being a fashion designer.

I love this group they remind me of my life in San Diego and driving along the beach with the top down.
Listening to SOS and Basia and just enjoying life and the sunsets.
The music was better the clothes were better the cars were better and yes my first car was a two tone ford mustang and yes it was a cool car to own and drive.

Whether she can't dance or not the fact of the matter is that yes although this group was popular 25 years ago, the music is still good today. Plus the record companies wish they could make money like they did back then. The product back then was better today the product is garbage and the companies are going broke.

Since this group's appeal is all about the aesthetics,rather than the artistry,I'm very surprised they did not hire someone to choreograph a few steps for this" less than coordinated" young woman.

The problem is in '87 most videos were still nothing more than promos for music. Michael Jackson was an oddity even back then. Janet Jackson's team of choreographers were just forming in '86 and '87.
Anyway, these guys make their millions in front of a Japanese audience and they could care less about a klutsy dancer.

True enough, but I still love her. This video seems to be edited though and is disjointed. It isn't the original version or length because the song is over 6 minutes in length.

This was one of the first CD's I've ever bought where I bought it just for one song, but ended up falling in love with all the others too. There isn't a song on this album I don't like. Corinne Drewery is one of the most incredible singers around, bar none. It's a real shame they didn't catch on so much in the US. Oh, well, our loss, I guess.

I love this song. The lip syncing on this track couldn't be much further out. I was wondering if this might be the video for another track for a few seconds her lip movements were so unrealated to what she was singing.
