In school I'm writing a text about Iowa, and i figured I'd check out the state's anthem during class.
I found the song quite familliar, and when the guy sitting next to me told me that it has the same melody as the norwegian childrens song "En Bussjåfør" (A Busdriver), I simply roared with laugher! Hilarious!
I'mn fitting all these into one playlist in the order the states joined the union. This is the third one I've heard after Michigan and Maryland to have this tune. >.>
