Smokewade, maybe that's part of the song.. I noticed it too, but im feeling a bit pissed off at how the makers of the app are hoping it will catch on and replace 'real' musical instruments.. so I'm just being a bit grumpy.. nice playing anyhow ;) but buy a real ocarina!!

yes it can, u dont need to blow in it, just set it to touch mode

@lottiesang floriarose was incorrect with her response. There is touch mode where you just touch the notes and there is an additional one for the 'open' note

I did a search for Harry Potter on the smule website... they've changed the site around so I'm not sure where the exact one is, I think you look in the songbook section now....

You should start to blow into the mic for each individual note. You get a better change from note to note that way.

I like when then notes string together, but because I have the 1st gen iphone, I get digital distortion sometimes... so it's a trade off

have you trien connecting you iphone to any speaker ?? i tried with mine (iphone 1st gen) and it doest work, it steel sounds by the iphone speaker....

It doesn't make any sound at all for me when connected to a speaker... I'm hoping the update will fix that!!

UPDATE: The iphone 2.2 software does not seem to help anything for the 1st gen user :(
