@iamchris4lifefan11 Hard to say. The ending is VERY difficult. You should be able to do it if your fast enough and can handle a heavy stream like that.
@iamchris4lifefan11 Kimono Princess isn't too bad. I think you might have some trouble with the 2 alternating jump segments. It was pretty hard for me when I first started playing it but you'll be able to FC it if you play it enough just like everything else. Its really just a matter of time.
@iamchris4lifefan11 You'll see what I mean when you unlock it. Uranus really doesn't compete with it. X2 is an okay with mix so its worth buying if you like the KO's.
@blueapple128 OH!.. ok.. so it was Ver. D that the guy at our arcade FC.. he was insane!! that was on EncoreExtra Stage.. i noticed the first time he did it, he got game over on just one mistake?? was that one??
then he did another credit.. and then.. KimonoPrincess fcd then RoppongiEVOLVED Ver.D Fcd..
What I did was that I went to Edit mode and saved the dance charts. Then I just went into the Edit folder in game mode and roppongi's step charts show up with no randoms when selecting them. You can even see it by looking at the banner. This is how I picked which version of roppongi I wanted to do but I only saved version A and B's charts because B's easier and A I like more.
Agreed. Version B was the first one I passed, followed by A and then B. I felt so proud of myself because I was in the acquard transition phase between 9 and 10 footers.
Lol i have the same mat as you but my jackass friends would always stomp when they played and they cracked my panels lol. so now i have duck tape on them haha. my ghetto ddr mats =P
how about do training mode on which roppngi evolved version u wanna play the most and after finishing the training, go to game mode and select roppongi evolved and maybe it'll play that version u played in training mode
im not sure if that'll work, but i know it works in hp3
@prototypeboy Yes the song does change also. There is a special cue you must listen for to know which one you are playing to catch the stops or BPM changes.
How do you play the different versions? Are they selectable from the song wheel or what? I am confused on this and I havent unlocked this yet so yea...
@prototypeboy You are given one to play at random. You can make edits of the original charts and them save them to the game to play all three whenever you want though.
I know that this is kinda old for this video... but let's put the songs this way:
For each song for what I know that is in the hottest Party series, they have Version A, B, and C. And with A-C, the difficulty goes from easiest (which is A) to the hardest (which is C.) and B is considered to be in the middle.'
Considering on how many 32nd notes there are and jumps there are for each one. But this is from my opinion.
@hawckstrike13 B is actually the easiest one as long as you can do gallops worth a damn. It's also got the least amount of notes and is the least stamina draining of the three. A is the middle one with constant streams and C is the hardest one.
You can play the individual versions in training mode though. for some reason I only see A and B on the training mode. I'll play roppongi EVOLVED a bit more and hope the individual ver C of Roppongi EVOLVED will pop up in training mode.
HP3 has a 6 panel variation of this chart if gimmicks are turned on. I've got a video of this up too. Kimono Princess and You Are A Star were given this treatment as well.
In Hottest Party 3, You Are A Star, Kimono Princess, and Roppongi Evolved use the "Diagonal Arrows" gimmick where some of the left and right arrows are changed to up-left and up-right arrows (you step on the A and B buttons on the dance pad)
That's a killer run, that's all I got to say about it. Makes me want a metal pad.
I've managed to PFC ver. A right up until note 250 I believe it was so I know that that even if I don't PFC the song I can probably FC it if I play it enough and play it properly. However, 13 greats is good enough for me at the moment. That's my best for any boss song on foot period.
Well, there's always the Happauge one that works well with component cables, but that's expensive.
Me, I have EasyCap. Cheap, easy to install, easy to setup, but you have to play with it a little bit to get the settings you want. I use it for Street Fighter 4 and it works great.
If you've played all the versions in standard mode, you should be able to select the different versions in edit mode. I'm pretty sure you can just make an edit for all three and just import the official charts for each and then save the edits, thus allowing you to play them in standard play.
Unfortunately, this is the only way I know how to choose the different versions. There may be some kind of hidden code ala-SUNKiSS DROP, but for now...:S
It's sorta similar on my end too. I tend to get B and C quite a bit as well. A has cropped up here and there, but it doesn't seem as often as the others. Fortunately, at least for HP3, I have a way of knowing which version is playing before the first note hits the screen so if I don't feel like playing that version I'll just exit out.
im improving on this. soon very soon Im gonna FC this.

@Gloc998 Version D because it has the most gimmicks.
xkonsentox 1 year ago
@xkonsentox Hey! Where's Ver. A and Ver. C?
codybau 1 year ago
@codybau I never got around to doing them.
xkonsentox 1 year ago
@Gloc998 Ver. D has hiccup stops, BPM changes, and long 340 BPM streams, making it the hardest, but it only appears on arcade versions.
Ver. C has some streams and a few stops and BPM changes, but fewer than D. It's the second hardest.
Ver. A has no stops or BPM changes but has short streams scattered all the way through. It's the second easiest.
Ver. B has the shortest streams and only two BPM changes. It's the easiest.

@RYgonTM Ver. B is a 15. It is NOT harder than Super Samurai. Ver. A is a 16, but by the skin of it's teeth, and ver. C is definitely a 16.
