  • @Dafanmon2500 cool!

  • the motors on these have such a high r.p.m. for there size.

  • they sure do!!! for something made so cheaply they are pretty reliable. noisey but reliable. i posted your video on the DT fan forum as i know there is some members who might be interested! and some live closer to you than i do.

  • thanks

  • Thanks! I really do take pride in that fan. Paid $40 for it.

  • I have to admit, I love a good fan.

    I have a Stanley!!

    Google/Image, "Stanley Fan" It's a beast ;)

  • doesnt look half bad!

  • I never knew there were so many fans of fans. ._."

  • hey someone has to collect them! why you got any!

  • Sick Fan! I can see some similarities with my desktop Zero so I guess they are of the same era. Nice find.

  • i love it. it was made by the same company that made the zero toastmaster wizard rex ray etc. mcgraw edison

  • I think my zero has the same blade but in steel

  • search for my wizard fan, that is also a bersted made fan. it has steel blades. bersted made these fans in large numbers and they made them under alot of different brand names. my wizard only needs a new motor. its just about dead. poor little thing. it was my first old fan i ever bought.

  • I'm holding out for a late 1940's ILG industrial fan. Good find, it sounds like you've been looking for one for a while. Sounds like it was meant to move some serious air!!

  • it is a nice little fan and i highly recomend one to anyone looking for a classic window fan! you may need to do some blade balincing but that is minor

  • i would HIGHLY recommend one of these eskimo fans for anyone even you untile you find your ilg. good luck BTW! these eskimos came in twin 8" single 8" and single 10" or atleast thats what ive seen of them. I LOVE IT :}

  • Nice fan! runs circles around the modern ones!

  • thanx

  • i have been looking for one for quite a while. i remember from my boyscout days seeing a twin version of this fan and a ge all purpose fan like i have. both of these fans were still in use at a camp i attended. the twin window fan cooled the trading post, you know the thing i wanted to buy the most. i never offered maybe i will go back some day and offer to buy it. the ge cooled a cabin where counselores stayed

  • Nice fan! It even sounds like it's moving a lot of air.

  • it does and it gets up to speed fast

  • I have this same fan. I found it in the trash. They are great fans

  • i was actually trying to buy one nib on ebay it went for over $100. than i found this one for $22 buy it now. i bought it now all right best price i've seen on one for sale

  • when you say you found yours in the trash do you mean that it was set out by the road to be trashed/ let's see your trash picked treasure!

  • Yes, some one tossed it to the curb. It runs great. Some people are really stupid.

  • show a vid of it. i love these fans. i wanted the most retro looking window fan i could find. i think i found it. it is even more retro looking than my 2 preimer screen fans. it definatly has the look of the 1950's
