hmm worst..... It was probably a blonde moment that I had.....there was a small skiff of snow on the ground....I forgot I had my e brake on....but started driving and couldn't get very far and thought I was "stuck" (in a skiff of snow.......duh!!!) or that I had a flat tire, so the guy riding with me was a fellow hairsylist who is a "fairy" nice guy.i said check if we have a flat ...his response I don't know what one looks like.(hahaha) Then many middle fingers and honks later I figured it out.
hmmm well mine is more of a trouble for my brother than me. We used to have a car that would leak whenever it rained so we'd stick a plastic big under it to catch all the water... well on our way to... I think it was melbourne or sydney it was raining very hard. my brother had fallen asleep on the side of teh car were the little plastic bag hang. well the bag got a little full... and lets just say Seth got a rude awakening. I laughed so hard.
my thermostat went and that killed my radiator blew the hoses and somehow my head gasket went at the same time ... thats excluding the time a 16Y/O illegal driver turned in front of me and i t-boned her
Ouch! I've only had to replace a tire once and it was on my driver's ed car.
As for other accidents, I accidentally backed up my parent's car into a neighbor's mail box while practicing a K-turn about 2 or 3 years ago. And I also accidentally scrapped a car with my bumper within the last month.
My sister and I missed a 15 (or so) car pile-up before. We swerved around it and missed it, though, and were unharmed. RIght - you be glad nothing worse happened. (: C'ya tomorrow!
During my sophomore year of high school, I was coming back home late after spending the weekend with some family friends. On the way back, it was horrendously foggy and we couldn't see anything. Everything was fine until all the lights in the car started to dim. Everything eventually died and we had to pull over on an exit ramp. Turns out the alternator died. We had to call 911 because we weren't familiar with the area and it was late.Ended up staying out in the foggy night for more than an hour
I'm actually probably going to look into buying a tripod for my car - something that I can attach to the dash. Don't know if PHTV would be keen on funding it, though. Haha
Crappy to hear about your accident! Will it be covered by insurance? How much are you going to have to pay? :( That majorly sucks...
A couple of years ago I was driving into the parking lot of my work and some crazy lady drove STRAIGHT into me. I saw her coming at me and I pulled off to the side and was stopped when she hit me. Then she tried telling the insurance that I HIT HER! It was insane... the lady was nuts! Anyway, I ended up having to pay about $600 for the damages to my car... GRRRR
ahh well. Stuff happens! Glad you are okay. and I love the "walk in" closet. Umm worst car trouble I have had? I was at a stop sign and some stupid soccer mom let her car roll back.. into my bumper. And I had a minor fender bender in my Land Rover one day... lucky.. it was a land rover so literally it just got scratched.
We were driving our Suburban in heavy rain, going home from my grandmothers lake house. When the wipers stopped working, we stopped many times to try to fix them. To make it short we ended up skidding off the road, hit another person landed on a fence, and we lost the car that day.
We found out it wasn't our fault and that it was caused by a person running into the person in front of us. Nobody was hurt, thankfully because all the passengers were between the ages of 2 and 12.
On the way home for summer after my sophomore year of college, a car swerved into my lane, and in my attempt to avoid being hit I lost control and spun into oncoming traffic. My little Honda Civic was hit by a Chevy Silverado. It was totaled.
Thankfully no one was hurt at all, but I did have to wait at a random gas station for my mom to drive two hours to pick me up.
Our family actually broke down on the side of the road (some problem with the exhaust pipe) and the car saw the last of it's days. And to top it all off, we broke down on the way to Thanksgiving dinner, and we weren't even close to where we had to be.

The worst car trouble I've ever had was when my brakes failed and I had to use the emergency brake to stop the car.
It's either that or the time a 98 year old lady hit me after trying to make a u-turn from a parking spot. Oops.

What??? What is a 98 year old even doing behind the wheel?

I have no idea. But now whenever I see someone with white hair, I speed away. Haha.

My moped got a flat tire once. Unfortunately, mopeds don't have spares. I think that's the only vehicle related issue I've had.
