Yesterday i got mine on my first attempt!

A few days ago a friend of mine said he was trying to get it.

So yesterday i thought, why not give it a try, even though i obviously wouldn't get it xD..

When i saw the loot i thought it was some kind of bug, i just couldn't believe it :DD

@prebzoor Yes, now you dont need a druid to do it, if you have a level 85 then you can solo on heroic and the boss can spawn without you needing a druid

Don't forget you don't have to be a druid anymore to do the boss. Farming without a druid is now possible.

The true drop rate is around 1.6%  It took me a month to get it. But hey, this drop rate is actually not that low, just think of Sea Turtle, or Onyxia mount.

Just done my 17th run and it still hasn't dropped. Same as ZG mounts, been doing ever since wotlk came out and they still havnt dropped and I must have done them atleast 85% of the time its reset. The White birdy dropped from MGT on first attempt though >< Stupid RNG.

I cleared mobs as moonkin, killed boss as resto, takes about 10 minutes for the boss fight, done by keeping regrowth up on the falcon and eagle spirits, hots as needed upon yourself, upgraded thorns, and moonfire on the boss. I'll post a video eventually, waiting for the boss kill that gives me the mount :)

ah that's a separate addon, called 'Aloft'. google aloft and then its should automatically be set up for you

in the video i suggest you should be level 80 with at least the craftable heroics if you want to do this easily. I had about 35k health, but I think that was before bears health got nerfed. I haven't played in a long time so I can't really say if 22k is enough health, You could just give the first mobs a try at the start of the instance

@samantttha The trash will be easy no matter your health... I cleared it all as Balance with around 20k health. Anzu is a bit tougher, but I dunno... I had around 40k health unbuffed when I soloed him for the first time, and he never got me below 95% health. You could probably do it with 30k, maybe less... I've never tried it. Give it a go, anyways.

Worst case scenario: You Rejuv the one idol until his health is low and finish him off. Might take a while though.

No, anyone can get this mount. You need a Druid (that has the key for anzu) to come with you, if you wish to summon him.

I'd suggest compressing the video file first with VirtualDub or something similar. It removes all the tears and gives you one smooth video. Unless your comp. just randomly drops fps.

pick up the feral tank talents if your gear isnt great, pick up survival talents like improved Leader of the Pack and survival instincts. as your gear gets better you can opt for more dps orientated talents. by the time i finished i was just using dps gear (with a mainly tank spec). Your best bet is to use google for an actual spec/better info

It is a roughly a 1% drop rate. It can take you 5 runs or (in my case) 300+ runs before it drops!
