True in part. My belief is all depression comes from a stressor, external, internal, physical, psychological or both. Remove the stressor, and you remove the depression. Simple, yet incredibly difficult.
What a simplistic view of a serious illness, this person has no idea of depression, me thinks, just wanted to make a smart arse video? lets cure depression in one second, what a wanker
@alimacdee What an ignorant response. I have suffered crippling depression and overcome it by by own reasoning after trying to conform to methods come up with by people who know nothing about it. This video at no point offers a system or method to solve depression it simply shares my own thoughts on how my thinking changed so I was able to finally end it for forever. It states very clearly that there is not a method or fixed system or course that you can follow to be free or it
thanks for this man...especially for those of us who live in unfriendly concrete jungles, you can safely say that depression is a rational reaction of our bodies and minds to an irrational way of living.bless you
Conforming to somebody else's methodology can work for others. I don't think it's right to dismiss the idea so quickly regardless of whether you agree with it or not. When you say what you think the first step is, are you intending for people to listen to your suggestion? And if so, wouldn't that in itself be conforming to a form of methodology?
Quite the opposite. There are no steps as such, was simply outlining what needs to be dismissed to simply realise where the problem lyes. This is more a video pointing out the emptiness of 'methods' and systems of overcoming depression.
I often say that you cannot even blindly accept what I am saying nor what anyone says on depression, am only ever asking people to look at what I am pointing out and question it yourself. I have no sense of depression whatsoever for many years. This is how I arrived at that. There was no system in place and can never be. There is no methodology to conform too that's the point.
how can i overcome it fast with out doing more drugs like i dont wanna do drugs no more bro like i dont wanna get high or drunk any more to feel happy :(
very smart obsrervation basically you mean becoming self aware in the moment of the weight of depression, instead of runing off in your mind in the situation, just observe it if im right :P
Yes you are totally correct. The moment of observation is the first stage to understanding it without trying to run through every possible scenario in your mind
i like your observations here. i'm going through the worst depression i've ever experienced, and your suggestion of observing the depression was quite helpful. not to mention the puma/fear analogy!
I do hope the next video comes soon. thanks for taking the time to these.

Very insightful. I'm going through a very severe case of depression. The world needs more insight from people such as yourself and HaroldSays (because he is hilarious). My girlfriend suggests I look for more friends, which I've lost over time due to the depression. I have difficulty meeting people though. I dunno.. Anyway, back to the subject. Thank you alot.
No Problem. I am happy that I have been able to help. I will be posting a second part to this video this week, just keep watching my channel. Hope it will be useful for you. Take Care
