Like it or not, you cannot deny the fact that John has 100 times the talent of Vince. Vince has no musical talent or creativity, he just sings the lyrics that Nikki puts in front of him. When Elektra records refused to fund the recording of Generation Swine unless Vince was rehired, John respectfully stepped down, and even taught Vince how to sing the lyrics he had written. Corabi is a better musician than Neil, in every aspects. Moreover with a second guitar the Motley's live sound is more complete. Out of this, Vince is the band singer since the beginning and we're all used to listen Motley's songs with him behind the mic.

Both are amazing singers, but for completely different reasons each. Vince is great because he has the sound that pretty much revolutionized Glam rock and Hair Metal in the 80's. John has the voice of the new generation. Me as a Crue fan would get lynched by every other fan out there simply because I will not pick a favorite because I love them both. They somehow Both define Motley Crue. Every band has a signature "Voice", this one just happens to have two.

Dude, I'll admit Vince Niel had the signature high pitched, glass breaking, vocals in the 1980's that defined Motley Crue, but when it comes to recently, I would prefer Corabi over Neil. Vince is way out of shape and that and alchohol has made his voice out of tune and out of breath. Corabi held a bad assed tune. I'll give it to Vince Neil, he has one of the best voices to come out of the 1980's, but Corabi is way underestimated.

Vince will always be Motley. It's just a fact. Even when he did his solo stuff with Steve Stevens from Billy Idols band he fucking sounded great. If they had kept Stevens on guitar when his second solo album came out it may have been quite a different story. Let's use our imaginations: pretend that Corabi was the original lead singer for the Crue and Vince had been HIS replacement. The fans would have missed Corabi beyond measure. Let's face it, Vince Neil is probably the laziest frontman of all time to be in successful band. He hardly wrote a note or lyric for the Crue albums and he was never a good singer. Corabi is considerably the more talented of the two and the "Motley Crue" album rocked!

Yeah. John wasn't bad at all. He doesn't sing it like Vince but John sings it a little different. I kind of like that. Still, the Crue are the Crue when it's Vince, Mick, Nikki, and Tommy. Saw them live in 2005. Awesome show.

Corabi is a better musician than Neil, in every aspects. Moreover with a second guitar the Motley's live sound is more complete. Out of this, Vince is the band singer since the beginning and we're all used to listen Motley's songs with him behind the mic.

This is a shame. I've been a Motley fan for a long time and it is sad to say that this era is the best the band ever was but nobody gave a shit. The Motley Crue album is their best and heaviest sounding record. I don't know about you but when I see Crue I want to hear all of the lyrics and not a half-assed vocal performance like Vince does today and then. CrueFest 2 was a joke, and I laughed when Godsmack fuckin' blew them off of the stage

they have different voices...but the stuff that VINCE recorded (this song for example) sounds better by Vince...the Corabi Album sounds great with Corabi obviously...but most of the albums pretty much all except the self titled corabi album was vinces voice so he has the right sound for the song...i for one dont like corabi doing this song or the vince songs..we're not closed minded we just know what works, and for crue to work its the original like it is now...

Both are amazing singers, but for completely different reasons each. Vince is great because he has the sound that pretty much revolutionized Glam rock and Hair Metal in the 80's. John has the voice of the new generation. Me as a Crue fan would get lynched by every other fan out there simply because I will not pick a favorite because I love them both. They somehow Both define Motley Crue. Every band has a signature "Voice", this one just happens to have two.

Dude, I'll admit Vince Niel had the signature high pitched, glass breaking, vocals in the 1980's that defined Motley Crue, but when it comes to recently, I would prefer Corabi over Neil. Vince is way out of shape and that and alchohol has made his voice out of tune and out of breath. Corabi held a bad assed tune. I'll give it to Vince Neil, he has one of the best voices to come out of the 1980's, but Corabi is way underestimated.

I actually like the Motley Crue "Motley Crue" record. It gave them a new dynamic. Corabi can't be compared to Vince since they sound totally different. Corabi is a good singer for the music he sings and vice versa. Corabi can always say he was in the Crue. Sorry to all the haters but yes....it's a big deal!

Vince will always be Motley. It's just a fact. Even when he did his solo stuff with Steve Stevens from Billy Idols band he fucking sounded great. If they had kept Stevens on guitar when his second solo album came out it may have been quite a different story. But quite like Vince, Stevens was straight up Billy Idol just as Vince is straight up Crue. Nuff said!
